When working around the house, and I'm going to need a hammer handy, I like to have this on my belt. It keeps the hammer up where I can easily reach it too. The hammer loop on my tool belt is too low, and I have to kinda strain to reach it sometimes. Not this one though. It's really well built too. Should provide years of service, it'll probably outlast me.

Works well

I don't use these to hold hammers, I use them to carry my cordless hand drills. I have to work from ladders on home repair. I need two drills on the ladder when I'm repairing the tin or siding. One drill for a pilot hole in the tin, and the second drill for the rivet gun. I have placed snap hooks on the drill handle using tie wraps. The snap hook easily attaches to the leather hammer holder ring.

I work in construction and my hammer clanks against the medal holder all day, the leather was broken in about 4 days of use, still going strong and hasn't fallen apart yet, pretty cheap and affordable hammer hook.

I needed a stand alone strap to hold my claw hammer. It holds my claw hammer. Outside of holding my claw hammer, it doesnt do much else. The leather portion feels heavy gauge and quality. Im glad with this purchase.
