Very sticky and messy but does seal pipe threads
Beware, that this product while it seals pipe threads as desired will make a sticky mess that is difficult to clean up.

Little pricy, but worth the peace of mind knowing you have one of the best products
I've used this product for years in my profession, it only makes sense to use it at home as well. This is the best out there IMO. Little pricy but worth it.
