Excellent Wireless Mic System
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Wireless Mic – Easy Setup, Clear Audio, Long Battery Life The RØDE Wireless microphone system exceeded my expectations. Setup is incredibly easy and intuitive. I was up and running within minutes without needing to adjust complex settings. Audio quality is excellent. The microphones maintain clear, clean sound even at a good distance from the receiver, with strong and reliable signal performance. Voices come through crisp and natural, making it ideal for interviews, presentations, and video recording. Battery life is another standout feature. The battery lasts a long time, easily supporting extended recording sessions without interruptions or frequent recharging. Overall, this is a high-quality, reliable product that performs exactly as advertised. I highly recommend the RØDE Wireless microphones and will definitely continue using them as a satisfied customer.

These are great wireless accordion microphones
These work as accordion mics! Decent external wireless pickup mics for accordions are hard to find. Even though these are intended as lapel mics, they do the trick and sound good. The fact that the two transmitters go to a single receiver which requires no external power source is super convenient for many performance situations. You can use these with a battery powered amp/speaker and amplify your accordion wirelessly without requiring an electrical outlet at all – ideal for busking. The transmitters have a long range and can be used in strolling performances. In most cases, you will need an eighth inch to quarter inch adapter. For the keyboard side on a piano accordion, use velcro tape to attach one of the transmitters to the lower part of the grille, with the microphone pointing upwards. The high notes will be louder than the lower notes, but overall, the volume will sound more stable over the range of the keyboard than it would if you were to put the transmitter at the top facing down, or in the middle facing toward the keyboard. On the button side, thread a velcro strap through the clip of the other transmitter and strap it to the outer side of the bass strap, so the microphone is pointing upwards. Cut the velcro strap to shorten it if needed so it fits snugly around the bass strap. If you can find a black acrylic paint pen, I recommend painting over the blue lights on the transmitters; you’ll still be able to see the lights to know whether the transmitters are connecting, but they’ll be less glaringly bright on stage. You can use these mics for recording also, but it would only make sense to do so in a live performance setting. For studio recording, it would make more sense to use stationary mics. There are a few limitations to be aware of: 1) You cannot adjust the input gain, only the output gain. If there is noticeable distortion, there is no way to turn down the input gain, you’ll have to find a way to mount the transmitters differently. When I play on the bass side, the receiver indicates that there is some distortion, but it’s subtle enough that it probably wouldn’t be noticed in a performance setting. The sound quality is actually quite good. 2) You cannot adjust the volume of the two mics independently. If the keyboard side is too quiet, the only options are to mess with the EQ on the amp/speaker/mixer or to try adjusting the mic placement. 3) These mics are omnidirectional, which I think is idea for this kind of setup, but you’ll have to be extra careful about feedback issues. I only just finished setting up and testing these mics, with guidance from a sound engineer friend. haven’t used them in performance yet. I will update this review if I encounter any issues. So far they seem like a great option for accordionists to know about.

Studio-Quality Gear That Paid for Itself in a Day
I bought a number of SmallRig and Rokinon products, along with Blackmagic and RODE gear, on the recommendation of a professional photographer and videographer as I was putting together a professional-grade kit for my company to produce in-house videos at scale. I couldn’t be happier. The full kit cost about the same as a single day’s shoot with a high-end production outfit. With a bit of training, we’ve already produced more than a hundred videos and turned it into a social media engine for the business. The setup has been fundamentally affordable, incredibly effective, and surprisingly approachable for non-specialists. Across the board, every product has felt professional-grade but still learnable for an amateur willing to pay a little attention. Five stars all around.

This System Is Absolutely Brilliant.
Let me tell you about this RODE Wireless PRO — I’ve been genuinely excited since the moment I pulled it out of the box. This thing is beautifully engineered from top to bottom. It’s compact, it’s thoughtful, it’s technical in all the right ways, and it feels like it was designed by people who truly understand creators. First: the audio transmission. Stunning. RODE’s Series IV 2.4 GHz digital transmission with 128-bit encryption gives you audio that is clean, stable, and shockingly consistent. No random pops, no dropouts, no weird RF interference — I walked around, moved through rooms, and the signal stayed locked like it was hard-wired. That alone makes it feel high-end. Universal compatibility is a huge win. I love gear that works everywhere, and this system does exactly that: Cameras iPhones Android phones Windows laptops Mac systems You name it, it connects instantly. I love that I can go from a studio camera to a mobile setup without changing my workflow. The technical magic: 32-bit float on-board recording. This is the feature that made me smile like a kid. Over 40 hours of internal 32-bit float recording means this thing captures everything — loud, soft, clipped, whispered — and you can recover the audio in post. That’s a lifesaver. No panic, no ruined takes. I cannot praise this enough. Timecode integration is next-level. This is the type of feature you used to only see on expensive cinema gear. Timecode makes syncing audio in post-production not just easy — it’s automatic. If you shoot multi-camera or fast-paced content, this is a serious advantage. It tightens your entire workflow. And the accessory kit alone feels like a bonus box of joy. The smart charging case is genius — it charges everything together and keeps all the components protected. You also get: Two Lavalier II microphones Every cable you need Magnetic mounting clips A beautifully organized accessory case It’s not just “complete” — it feels premium and ready for real production work. The price-to-performance ratio is incredible. For what this system does — 32-bit float, timecode, encryption, multi-device support, premium lavs, magnetic mounting, pro accessories — the value is beyond competitive. This feels like the kind of gear you keep for years because it hits the perfect balance of engineering quality + creator convenience. Bottom Line: This Wireless PRO system is honestly one of the smartest purchases I’ve made. The audio is clean, the features are professional, the workflow is modern, and everything feels thoughtfully built. If you do video, interviews, YouTube, documentary work, or anything requiring reliable audio — this thing is a powerhouse. Highly recommended. I’m genuinely impressed every time I use it.

Unreliable, and un-useable.
First off, on paper this product is perfect. I was really excited to upgrade from my Zoom H4n setup into a self recording 32bit Float setup. However this product cost me a full days worth of audio on one subject to be completely missing. I had the receiver unit plugged into my camera and was monitoring audio. Out of the blue one transmitter sends a loud screeching sound into my headphones and stopped recording. (This happened multiple times) The transmitter stopped recording audio, so I started the recording again as to not lose any more audio. The transmitter and receiver both indicated recording, and the shoot continued. When I got back home to download the files off of both transmitters.. Only one transmitter had audio recorded internally from the point after the loud screeching, leaving me completely screwed for one of my subjects audio. (Luckily I was also recording with a shotgun mic as a safety.) This is unacceptable for any equipment used in content creation. I wanted to like this set up so badly, and the audio sounded great when it actually decided it wanted to record. However I cannot trust that this piece of equipment will function properly, and there's no way to double check it unless you plug it into a computer. Which is impossible and unprofessional in the middle of a shoot. It worked for 1 day right out of the box before it stopped recording consistently. I shouldn't be encountering these problems or having to trouble shoot a product within the week I purchased it. My business partner bought the cheaper version of these last year, and they arrived not working. I should have listened to his advice, but I figured since these were "pro" I would be ok. I will never buy another RODE product again. Extremely unreliable and buggy. If this audio device ruins a day of shooting for my and my client, I cant be looking at a reshoot costing well over $10,000, and risking that with the RODE wireless Pro is not even remotely close to being worth it. As I was looking up possible solutions on the internet, I noticed a few other people mentioning this problem. 1. Missing Audio 2. Recording indicator (even even it wasn't recording) 3. Unexplained screeching interference. 4. No solution to the problem. If you are considering purchasing these, I hope you have backup audio or run your LAV receiver into your camera.. This product will eventually cause you problems and money.

Good mic but had technical issues with the software
I bought these for making YouTube videos and overall they are pretty good, sound quality is great, but I have had technical issues with getting them to connect properly to Davinci Resolve. After hours of trying to figure out what was wrong and why they wouldn’t connect (all settings on my computer and in davinci were correct) I found that I had to actually go into the Rode Wireless software and factory reset the firmware. That somehow fixed it and it finally worked. Otherwise they are great but I get frustrated easily when things don’t seamlessly work together. The battery life is good and they charge easily and I like how compact everything is. Overall it’s a good microphone and receiver but be prepared to be frustrated if you have any type of technical difficulties.

This set has been a great value!
Bought this microphone set after being recommended by a friend. They have been a great value for what I paid. Recording quality is excellent as well as I’ve never had an issue with connectivity. I use them for recording a podcast as well as content.
