Im not affiliated with Sovis, Im just exceptionally vain and want to prevent freckles and aging skin. This is one of my top 3 purchases over the last few years. All the doubts I had about this visor proved to be unfounded. I wasnt able to interperate the scientific data/results that came with my visor however after having used it for several weeks I KNOW that its working as I have never once burned while using it. This is significant as I otherwise experience burning with sunscreen and without after a few minutes in the sun. It is composed of good quality plastic which after several weeks of rough use, sticky fingers anf jamming under car seats still comes up looking like new after a quick polish with the chammy provided. Yes there is a little reflective glare but nothing that would obscure your vision or be a serious irritation. I actually find this so helpful when driving for blocking the sun whilst allowing a superior feild of veiw than a pair of regular frammed sunglasses. Ive tried everything to keep the sun off my face short of a balaclava but not far off, (huge floppys, dust masks, head socks, face veils).! This visor is all you need. Doesnt mess your hair up, allows you to skip greasy, acne inducing facial sun block, can wear in car and in backyard gardening which are the two places Im most exposed to sunlight. Dont know why they havent been picked up by the Cancer Council here in Australia. I predict everyone will be wearing these in the near future. It would be great if they became more popular so I can feel less self conscious wearing it in public.

I purchased this visor because I have hyper pigmentation and I was limited to my outdoor activities in extreme sunlight. I highly recommend this visor because of the protection it provides simply attach the adjustable lanyard that is provided and peel away the protective covering from the visor - it’s that simple. I was pleased with the shipping it arrived in a sturdy box without any damage to the visor itself. The only setback for me is the tremendous amount of glare/reflection that this visor has. It reflects your clothing as well as the environment around you. I tried driving with this visor and it is possible however for me because of the glare I didn’t feel comfortable. Perhaps in the future an anti-glare coating can be added... P.S. In addition to the visor it came with a lanyard,a cleaning cloth as well as correspondence pertaining to its uv protection rating.

Got the extra length and it still doesn't fully cover my wife's small face when pulled down. There's a gap which will let sunlight through. Maybe I should've chosen the oversize? Not sure..

Very comfortable. The plastic feels a bit flimsy, but you can see through it with no problem. The coverage of the face is unbeatable. I do get some looks since I look like Darth Vather. However, I get compliments for looking very young for 51 years old! Keeping the sun exposure away from the face is the key. As a avid golfer this is the only way plus lots of sun screen!

My last buy had lasted for years with everyday use until I had scratch it. This is my repeat buy. I wear it during day driving and has good view overall without obstruction. This brand tells you where it is produced and comes with UV test certification.

Unfortunately. .the visor is too big for me and the headband is not adjustable. ..
