Great product. Easy to use. My last one lasted five years of everyday use!

works great
I needed a heart sensor for my virtual rides - for my regular rides outside i use a Garmin Fenix watch for tracking but it is a pain in the but to link it to my tablet for virtual rides in MyWhoosh so i wanted to get a standloane sensor. I first looked at chest straps but they are more expensive and more finicky to work with so I gave the Rhythm 2 armband a shot. The heart rate is just as accurate(or better) as my $600 watch and it is plug and play - just turn it on and search for a heart sensor in the MyWhoosh app - it pops up in a second or two. The same should be true for other virtual ride apps(Rouvy, Zwift, etc)

Band is not easy to keep in place
The hr monitor works good with some kid games. However the band keep coming off, especially for a kid.

Good Bang for Your Buck for Peloton!
My expectations were guarded as the reviews for this product were a bit all over the place. I wanted to get this to connect to my Peloton to get the 'strive score'. It connect immediately and super easily, also connected easily to the peloton app on my phone for non bike workouts. It is very accurate for heart rate, I compared it to my fit bit watch and it's spot on- if not seems to be more accurate to the level of activity I'm doing. I charge it once a week but I think it could go much longer than that. Be warned that any band like this takes some getting used to (comfort-wise) as bands like this work best if they are tight so the sensor stays in the same location. I do think the quality of the band is fine, probably similar elastic to any band like this. I had zero issues with this product, it was well worth it for the affordable price!

Downgraded to 'do not buy'
My last Scosche heart rate monitor lasted 7 awesome years before the battery finally died a slow death. It worked great but I needed a replacement so I got a new one.I'm not impressed with the strap nor the hooks which connect to the unit to hold it on your arm.- I always used my Scosche monitor on my wrist because it slips down from my forearm when I ride aggressively. This strap is too long to permit that and the wearer must wear it on their forearm.- Because wearers must slide it up their forearm, it's difficult to get the tension right and as you see in other reviews, this causes breakage in the units strap pins.- The strap has hooks on each end which easily fall off the strap making it so your heart rate monitor is 2 parts, probably leading to them being separated or lost.- Performance of the unit seem pretty consistent but I can't attest to its accuracy of course but it seems ok.It gives me real-time feedback on my bike computer to tell me if I'm working hard or slacking during training rides. The most important part is that it works, transmitting my heart rate to my computer but the strap issues are a bother to me.I may improvise a strap that works more like my last Scosche because this is intolerable.I hope the designers are reading this.Update: As you see in the new image, the heart rate drops to around 80, which is obviously a glitch that causes me to question the accuracy of the device. That's not cool.*** Update: This thing continually loses connectivity to my Garmin 1030. That along with the problems others have with the case breaking where the straps connect and shorter battery life make this a 'Do not purchase" item. Sorry Scoshe. Fix your product.

Overrated battery life
I bought this unit because I had used the Rhythm24 but thought that the extra button and data storage feature were superfluous and unused, plus the Rhythm24 suffered from frequent dropouts (HR not appearing on my Garmin) and the battery only lasted around 10 hours (2 five-hour rides). Although the Rhythm R+2.0 does not have as many dropouts (pretty infrequent now), the battery lasts nowhere near 24 hours. It's more like 8 to 10 hours. I like the accuracy though. Pretty good for an optical monitor.

Works with Peloton Bike
Bought this to use with our Peloton bike. It was very easy to pair with the bike and connects within seconds each time I use it. I wear it on my bicep and get an accurate heart rate reading while riding. It also worked placed on my forearm. Really pleased with this for the cost.

Excellent Product
This is an upgrade from previous version in how the band works and attaches. Extra stress I put on previous model (Rhythm + that I had since Feb 2018) broke the holder for the band. It was still working perfectly after daily use for almost 7 years! The 2.0 is sleeker and quicker connecting. I do wish I had the ability to change the name of it for Bluetooth.
