Q: I'll install sub with a mono amp. What's the difference between 2 ohms and 4 ohms sub? Can I use it with my amp?

Q 2 ohm load is going double the current draw from your amp, compared to 4 ohm. Most of the good amplifiers will almost double the wattage output...or at least increase the power output signifigantly. To get 2 ohm mono you need either a single dual 4 ohm voicecoil, 2 4 ohm single voicecoil subs or (2) 2 ohm dual voice coil subs.
