Do not underestimate this piece of equipment
I am an athlete in my mid 40s and strength training has been a huge part of my life for thirty plus years now. My training has evolved over the years, due to changes in priorities and of course the injuries that are inevitable, when you choose this lifestyle. I am currently training with the mindset of strength and conditioning. My daily workouts consist of 30-45 minutes of constant movement, with an emphasis on variety. After doing extensive research on the kBox4, I decided that it would be a great investment for my garage gym...man was I right!! This thing is awesome and I really can't compare it to any other sort of resistance that I have ever experienced. This machine offers up a slow, steady form of constant resistance...that forces you to use perfect technique. Using momentum is completely out of the question, which really stresses the muscle groups that your are targeting. I have been using this thing for RDLs, rows, overhead tricep extensions, curls, high pulls and my favorite...belt squats!! I am amazed at how well this movement targets my quads, without any strain on my lower back. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and plan on using this this for years to come. Thanks for an awesome product!!

This thing is intense.
I ordered my kbox directly from exxcentrics website. They offered split pay so it's only costing me $51 a month with zero interest.Theree is definitely a learning curve to using it, but this thing is intense. Once you get the feel of how it flows up and down and dial in the flywheel for each exercise, it gets my muscles burning more than any weighted exercise. So far I'm using it mainly for deadlifts, warm up squats, lunges, curls, and tricep extensions. I have a pretty extensive gym with squat cage and everything but it's nice to have this to mix in my normal routines. There is literally nothing out there like this for an eccentric contraction. Unlike training with weights where you can pause at any time, once the flywheel is moving you can't just instantly stop it. You have to fight the inertia on your eccentric contraction. I'm very happy I purchased it. it would be great for people living in an apartment or for those who have limited space. It's very quiet and takes up a very small footprint.
