Great Little Switch
Good quality cheap switch. This was the cheapest way I found to get 2.5gbps inside my house. The two 10gbps SFP+ ports are great to get high speed connections between two devices. The 4 ethernet ports don't seem to all get limited to the speed of the slowed plugged in device which is good. Its sleek, small and easy to set and forget.

A must have for anyone with a multi-gig ethernet adapter.
I use this switch for my office where I currently am using MoCA adapters for ethernet connectivity back to my router. My PC has a 2.5GbE NIC, so I wanted to take advantage of the extra throughput with this switch.

Working great!
So far so good. Only been installed for about 12 hours, but I am seeing 2.5 Gbps connections and speeds (iPerf3 tests are showing roughly 2.4 Gbps, which is the same as if I directly connect).

Would reccomend
Excellent. I had 2 from another brand die within weeks of being put into service, but this one is going strong!

Cheap and easy way to upgrade your network
A very nice, affordable way to upgrade to 10Gbase-SR SFP+ for a couple of hosts. I bought the 10Gtek transceivers, and they worked perfectly.

Name Brand 2.5Gbe switch with POE+ for a decent price. Works as advertised
Per subject:Name Brand 2.5Gbe switch with POE+ for a decent price. Works as advertised.Removed a POE+ injector for my Ubiquiti U6-Enterprise WAP and just plugged it right into this switch and it powered right up.U6-Enterprise WAP has 2.5Gbe uplink/backhaul and Unifi literally doesn't sell a switch that will do the speed and power requirement for this without costing either $500 OR costing nearly that much and requiring a full enterprise racksize (1U) switch, which this is for my HOME where I don't have (or want) a network rack. I do have a home NAS that will do the full 2.5Gbe so I didn't want to limit to 1Gbe. I gladly would have given Unifi my money for a similarly priced product, but they don't have one, so I went with this unmanaged switch and it works great.I would have preferred a managed switch with loop protection, spanning tree, vlans etc... even though for my home network it is not necessary, but I do actually have multiple VLANs and this could cause network issues with my multiple VLANs on my WAP... but this switch seems to pass the 802.1Q tagged frames (knock on wood) without issue so far. But this is not good practice. I do have a Unifi managed switch where I can put the POE+ injector back in play and tag my ports accordingly if I run into issues, and then I can use this just as a 2.5Gbe switch for only the native VLAN that the rest of my network/firewall uses.I purposely went with this over slightly cheaper versions because TrendNet is a brand I am familiar with and have a decent level of trust. Lots of other no-name brands you will see reviews complaining of networking issues and I have never had that with this brand, nor did I see any issues in the reviews. So far so good.
