If there is the slightest bit of extra paint on the gel plate the brayer just pushes the paint around. Has anyone had this problem? What is wrong?

Are you saying that the brayer doesn’t roll? If so, try greasing the roller with soap. Also, make sure the brayer is rolling easily on a dry surface. If not, clean the brayer of any dried paint on the sides where the handle attaches.
