Purchased this for our neck injuries recovery. We are in considerable pain and did not wish for a puzzle that would be frustrating or difficult to see pieces. We began getting Ravensberg puzzles in the 1980s for our children. The quality of the new Ravensberg puzzles is much less high end. The older puzzles had a high texture linen finish, more vibrant realistic colors and far better graphics and heavier construction. They were true “jigsaw” whereas these newer puzzles appear to be laser cut. At any rate most things made today are just lower quality-which is disappointing but reality. Despite the puzzle not meeting our expectations based upon past experiences it turned out to fit the bill for ease of play. No missing pieces as some have reported. The overall completed size (19” X 28” ) fit on our new elevated puzzle board perfectly with room to spare. Nice large format pieces were just right. Not huge and clumsy. Pieces fit together well. We also ordered a Ravensberger 750 piece puzzle and returned it. Pieces were very small and not as thick and size was astonishingly small also. About 1/2 the size as this Bird puzzle. I plan on searching at estate sales and on eBay for vintage Ravensberg puzzles since choices are limited for new ones.

I love to puzzle during my vacation or holidays. It relaxes my mind. I used my puzzle board, it has 6 little drawers to store the puzzle pieces. It is great because I can go to sleep and not mess up all the work I did separating all the pieces. I used the drawers to separate all the different colors. My adult daughter and I worked on this. We started it on Friday night and completed it Saturday night; but we only worked a couple of hours a day. I happen to LOVE little birds (Cardinal, Blue Jay, Hummingbird, Canary, Wren, Oriole, Woodpecker, butterflies, and 3 ladybugs too). They all made a perfect little senario, so cute. I love the flowers and different colors displayed. It is the end of March right now, and spring is here, so it was the perfect time to put it together. The pieces are hardy, and they click when they are in the right place. I enjoyed working with quality piece and did not have any "False fits". No missing pieces either!

This puzzle has wonderful graphics and the pieces are not too challenging.

Nice quality puzzle. The flowers and fence were challenging The pieces were big and easy to handle.

I really enjoy doing Ravensburger puzzles. However, this puzzle was missing a piece as you can see in the photo. I sent word to the company but have not heard back from them. I would like to be reimbursed or to be able to choose another puzzle for free.

A beautiful colourful puzzle and fun to do. I love wild birds. My first 500 piece puzzle. Worth every bit of fuss. Love the quality of Ravensburger puzzles.
