Q: Do the teeth on the alligator feel rough or uncomfortable since it looks like the teeth will be near the child's face?

We have the shark version and the teeth are more of a felt type material whole the blanket is plush. The teeth are not scratchy at all, the whole thing is nice and cuddly!

Q: Does the blanket have a zipper?

I do not think it has a zipper I do not have this item, if anything it would be a velcro side to hug the material close to body.

Great Quality!

Super well made! Nothing is iron on, it's all embroidered. My son sleeps in it every night, the only thing he will use now. Keeps him nice and warm.It's the perfect size for a large 5 year old, he can get completely inside the mouth, which is how he likes to sleep. If you were only pulling it to chest height, my 9 year old could still use it.It is really soft as well, no itchy seams. Nice and thick too.
