The grapes are ripening around this time of the year. Birds usually get to them before we do. But not this year! We wrap them in these green nylon netting bags that are really easy to use. The bags don't appear to be very sturdy but good enough for the task of keeping the birds eating all our grapes, I hope. Will keep you updated. Don't worry. Birds won't starve. They will get their share for sure!

Does the job. Bottom is securely closed with a plastic nub. Why four and not five stars, then? I have used ten of these bags so far, one of which was open almost all the way down one side. At a bit less than ten cents for each bag, this isn’t a major issue if that’s the only defective bag among the 100 bags in the pack. But if it turns out that a lot more bags are also defective, then these might not be a good deal. And no, I am not going to check out the remaining 90 bags for defects (at least not right now)!

We love these bags! We use them in our business and for personal use as well. Here we are using them for soap scrap/soap ends that we sell by the pound. They are the perfect size. You can be creative and use them to wrap gifts too.

Mesh is very fine, and are a bit fragile.

I grow grass for my cats. They have a tendency to pull entire strands of grass out of the containers, leaving soil on the floor. To prevent this, I have discovered that by stretching the netting across the top of the growing container and anchoring it (with rubber bands, string, or tape) the roots remain in the containers and not on the floor. When I had a garden and needed to store onions and other vegetables, this netting was great to avoid rotting. Also great for containing small toys, like marbles, toy mice and toy bugs for cats or whoever. I usually tie one end, and anchor the other with rubber bands for easier access. Very handy!

First of all, these are not 15" like it says. They are 12" and very flimsy. Can't withstand minor stretch. It tear and fall apart. We bought them for supporting our melons when they start to grow big on the trellis. We've use the method for years but I don't think this item will do the job.

What a great idea! I use it on everything from melons to grapes and no problems. We grow a lot of things vertically and this makes it easy to hang, grow and protect! They expand beautifully as the item inside grows larger/fuller! Thank you!

I bought them as an experiment to hold rocks. Being a mesh bag, it allows for drainage. It also keeps the rocks in place, preventing them from being flushed down my stream. Seems to be working...
