I barely ever review products but this was so worth it i just had to! If anyone is like me with dark brown hair and transitioned to platinum hair or highlights you already know its a total pain when your roots start coming back and a hefty bill at the salon * If you have the time and the money * not to mention super damaging every time you bleach.. Well i have searched forever!! For a product that could help with all of that even attempted to bleach my own roots which was an absolute disaster so before just giving up and going back to dark hair i decided to try this and let me tell you ive done it all the semi perm mask*manic panic snow* root coverup spray*All of them* lol nothing worked this product was the only only one ive gotten results from *** Also a fantastic dry volumizer**** !!!! I’m a platinum blonde (with really dark natural roots) and had been struggling to find a temporary root concealer to get me through until my salon can re-open. I tried several spray options and they just made my hair brassy. Then I found this product and it’s been a lifesaver! It provides a lot of coverage and was so easy to use!I normally get my hair done every 7 weeks and of course the salon closed 3 days before my appointment in March so as pictured they’re really bad and I debated not even posting a picture, but You can see where I used rootflage on the front section and the improvement it made! Its not perfect but far exceeds any other product i’ve tried! It also works great as a dry shampoo.

I actually received the wrong color initially. I wanted "ice house" but got "cotton candy" instead. It was in my stars eventually if I fancied the brand.I contacted the seller through Amazon and it states that a reply can take upwards of 48 hours. 😑 I wasn't happy, but I did it.Well no more than a few hours later I received an email from Lucy.Within that next day I had a new tracking number and received the correct order in less than a week.& bonus- I was gifted the "cotton candy" as a courtesy & didn't have to return it 😆Customer service is an A++As far as the product- After steady use I've grown quite fond of it. I haven't used the "cotton candy" yet. But "ice house" was meant to be an every day thing for me as my hair is platinum white but my natural color is light brown (& my grow out always looks freaken black in comparison). I was hesitant initially because it literally looked like baby powder without the smell. Don't be fooled by appearances because this sticks to hair way better (trust me, I know 😂). Afterwards you throw in some hairspray to set it and you're golden.The perk to this brand in comparison to some others is that the color doesn't seem to stick to your fingers when you scratch your head every now and then, nor does it come off on my pillows that I've noticed or any where else. No funky smells either 🙌 It mutes my roots really well & much better than other brands but as I said before, my hair is naturally a mousy brown.Putting it on initially, the powder can dust your clothes. I can't speak for the other colors, but "ice house" dusts off fairly easily and doesn't stain. Since it is a powder it does help my naturally super oily roots as well so I don't have to use dry shampoo.Both colors came with the detail brush but I find I can get what I'm going for by just using the large pink brush attached to the actual product.Also, my hair doesn't feel like a bunch of crap is in it. It's still soft. I do dust some through the rest of my head because it does kill that brassy look fairly well in my opinion.This product is A++

It's not perfect but definitely helps camouflage hot roots... thank goodness. I would recommend avoiding the scalp because it will build up but otherwise it is great. I also take the brush off and dip it in the powder for a heavier coverage.

I have predominantly white hair with a smidgen of gray. It's gotten very thin. This is white and covers the thin spots well and even adds some height. I wish it cost a little less because I go through it quickly.
