Perfect everyday carry light
This flashlight is just perfect! The size is ideal to carry in your pocket and use in any situation. It has great brightness and the strobe option is a big plus, especially for tactical use or home defecse. Super practical, reliable, and excellent quality. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent quality and will last for years
I originally bought one of these about 10 years ago and have used it every day at work. After 10 years, it wouldn't come on and I thought it was broken so I bought another. After looking over the broken light, I was able to determine that the only thing wrong was the battery spring on the cap had become compressed after years of changing batteries. By stretching the spring back out, the light has worked perfect since. Other some missing paint due to dropping numerous times, this light has held up perfectly. I had already purchased a new one but wanted to keep it as a light around my house. Light is extremely bright and versatile due to accepting multiple battery types. I also love the reverse clip that allows you to clip the light on the bill of your hat and free up both of your hands.

Absolutely Phenomenal.
This is a great light. It is competitively priced and is a nice size for pocket carry in men's jeans. I wear a slimmer cut pants (not skinny jeans lol) and there is no noticeable bulge in my pocket. The unboxing experience was plesant. Packaging was about standard, and was well put together. The light came with 1 CR123A (more about this later), 1 AA, the light (duh?), a pouch, and a wrist strap. I pocket carry this light only so I haven't used the pouch yet but it could be useful for storing things in and seems to be of good quality.Pros:Quite bright, with a nice balance between distance and width. The light can easily reach 200 ft or so while having a wide enough beam to provide good peripheral visibility.Durable (so far). I have already dropped it several times on concrete and other than a few scratches it works like a champ, although I expected this. The hat clip feature is useful. It is worth noting that the part of the clip contacting the bill of the hat is rounded over so it won't damage the front edge of the hat. Nice touch! The pocket clip is nice and sturdy, and I haven't had any issues with it sliding around or falling out throughout the day.The feature to be able to use AA batteries is awesome. I prefer to use a CR123A in order to achieve the full brightness, however it is very nice to have the option should I not have any CR123As on hand or if I don't feel like wasting the more expensive battery on a less demanding task. I imagine this feature would be very nice while camping or doing other things as AAs are far more prevalent and cheaper than CR123As.The tail switch is extremely easy to actuate while not turning on in my pocket easily. Strobe is also very easy to actuate (double tap). The end of the flashlight, near the bezel, is flattened on several sides so the light won't easily roll around. This is a nice detail. The lens and the glass (I believe it is acrylic of some sort) is recessed which is nice as it won't scratch or become damaged as easily.Cons:I would have liked for the pocket clip to carry a little further down in my pockets, as almost the entire screw on tail-cap portion sticks out. Although as long as you don't care about it being super concealed (it is just a flashlight after all) I can usually just tuck my shirt over it and it isn't much of an issue.I wish there was a way to possibly program the light to go High > Low > Strobe by single, double, and triple tapping. Currently, it is setup as High > Strobe > Low, and I find that I have to press it up against my clothing while actuating because the strobe function will turn on momentarily while switching to low which is quite blinding, especially when you need a lower amount of lumens to begin with. Not really a con, but the battery that came with the flashlight died very quickly, within the span of 1 week with not much use. However, I ordered a pack of 2 CR123As with the flashlight and the battery life of those are much improved. I have had the same battery in for about a month now with with moderate use and have had almost no visible reduction in lumens. Both of these cons are more nitpicks than anything. I very much enjoy this light, and can't wait to see how it holds up over time.

Must have
Great flashlight! I keep it equipped to my radio harness and it goes with me in all weather conditions. It is bright and functional and a great tool to have on the job!

Great little light, very durable. Takes abuse.
Extremely durable, good light output, very easy to lose. The duel clip is great, it'll take a dip, will take abuse and doesn't suffer from parasitic drain. A great little pocket light or for keeping around the house during a blackout. There are other, brighter, higher candela lights from streamlight you should consider for self defence.

Very nice flashlight, with a few quibbles
I bought this as a lightweight option to mount on my home defense firearm. It's a lot smaller than I was expecting, and lighter, too. I will be buying another for dedicated EDC pocket carry. I'm taking a star off for a few quibbles that bug me.First, the pros. This thing is a lot smaller than I anticipated. That was a majorly pleasant surprise. Being more compact, it's also a lot lighter. Given this is mounted on my firearm, I'm definitely a fan. There are times when I like my lights to have some heft, but firearm mount is not one of them. Another major (and obvious) pro is the option for two different kinds of batteries. I personally use the CR123 option for the firearm as it's brighter, but with pocket carry I'm more inclined to use an AA lithium battery for the longer life. It's nice to have that kind of flexibility either way. There are not a lot of flashlights out there that give you multiple options in terms of how you power it.The cons (for me). The tail cap switch is mildly infuriating, in terms of trying to get the light turned on to the setting I want. The first day or two I kept doing full clicks trying to get to the low brightness setting, or even the strobe, but could not for the life of me do anything more than just turn it on or off. It wasn't until several days later and finally googling the flashlight to find out you do a rapid "half-click" either twice (for strobe) or three times (for low brightness), with the last half-click actually being a full click to set it. So, you'd do a single full click for full brightness, half-click full click for strobe, or half-click half-click full click for low brightness. You think that sounds complicated? Wait until you actually try to do it. Either I'm horribly uncoordinated or slightly on the low end of the IQ scale, because it was maddeningly infuriating to attempt my various combinations of half-clicks and full clicks before I'd finally end up on the setting I was going for. After all those attempts, I've decided I'm good with just a single full click to turn it on, on the HD gun. The second quibble is the price. I paid about forty bucks for the light, only a few dollars more than either the CR123-only version or the AA-only version. That in and of itself is not a terrible price to pay for a decently bright flashlight. My issue is, this is not the only flashlight I've ever bought in my life. And there are others out there that are the same quality, but with far more features, for only a few bucks more in price. Granted, they're also bigger and heavier with longer run times on their batteries, but I'm having a hard time reconciling the price/value balance of this light, when I try it out alongside those.Again, those quibbles are just me, and my own subjective biased opinion. Your mileage may vary. At the end of the day, I like it enough that I'm buying another one, and I'd gladly recommend the light to friends and family.
