Fabulous Peppers and Beautiful Color
Homemade Enchilada sauce is a must for me since moving from West Coast to the East Coast. One of the most important ingredient in enchilada sauce is the peppers. They must be shiny, pliable and fresh to really produce the roast needed to enhance the sauce. These are beautiful and meet all my requirements. They were easy to snip off the stems and open to seed before roasting. They smelled wonderful when I opened the package and magnificent when I roasted them They ground beautifully in my processor and provided a truly beautiful color and flavor to my sauce. I highly recommend them. I won't be using any other brand. The listing says Rico Rico, but the packaging says Ole' Rico. Either way...they are perfect.

Love it!
These dried peppers are a great quality and price. I use them to make birria tacos and all three together are perfect! The peppers are in resealable bags and come bundled together. They are fresh... As fresh as dried peppers can be. No bugs, no crushed bits, no chemical taste, and if you're wondering about the heat levels I'd say they're medium (I like a bit of heat and I typically have to double the peppers my recipe calls for). Shipping was perfect and I'll be restocking these for sure because they're a great quality and so convenient to have on hand.

Fresh and High Quality
I live in an area where it can be difficult to find chilies that are not dried out to the point of just cracking and crumbling. These chilies were wonderful. They had that soft texture I can only describe as fruit leather, and were very aromatic. Having chilies that were still pliable without falling apart made the process of de-seeding so much easier. They toasted beautifully and made a great tasting broth for my pozole.

Best dried peppers I’ve ever used
I’ve been using those brittle, nasty peppers from the local super market for years. I worked in a top tier Mexican restaurant in college and I had seen good peppers, but I just figured I had to make do with what I could get my hands on. THESE PEPPERS ARE THE REAL DEAL!!! Buy them!!! They are soft, pliable, and have great flavor. They the best peppers I’ve used in 20 years. My wife bought them because I couldn’t find Ancho peppers for the Pozole I was making. The pozole was sooooo good. Buy these peppers w confidence!

Great product, not so great packaging...
I use these for making meat Chilli. They add a nice kick and some flavor undertones, but the packaging isn't very good. I ended up just transferring the contents of each pouch into ziplock bags. Also, The amount of ancho chilli to the other two does not feel even. Though this could just be the fact that you can't use that many arbols without feeling like you mace'd yourself. Will need to order more of just the Ancho and Guajillos.

All the chilies i needed in one place.
We grabbed the Dried Chile Peppers 3-Pack Bundle from Rico Rico, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer in my kitchen. These chiles, including Ancho, Guajillo, and Pasilla, are the holy trinity of chiles, and they are perfect for spicing up your dishes. I used them to make traditional tamales for Christmas, and the flavor was out of this world. The guajillo chiles I found in the pack were just perfect for the red chili sauce, and they added a rich and smoky flavor to the tamales. I followed the recipe exactly, and it turned out great! I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, but these chiles proved me wrong. The packaging is also convenient, with resealable bags to keep the chiles fresh. If you're a fan of Mexican cuisine and want to add some fun and flavor to your dishes, I highly recommend giving these dried chile peppers a try. They are a must-have for any recipe lover or anyone looking for a unique housewarming gift. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

The Way Dried Chiles Should Be
The chiles showed up fast! Love a prompt supplier. I actually ordered chiles from two different vendors and these were far superior to the other supplier. These have a leathery texture and are still flexible. They are packaged in oxygen barrier bags which really protects the contents and the contents of your pantry when you store them. Absolutely no smell through the bag. In short, these are very high quality and done exactly the way you want dried chiles to be. Nice job guys! The other package from the other vendor obviously had some issues. The chiles are almost crispy and packed in far inferior cellophane. You can smell them through the bag. I'm going to repackage them in a food saver bag with a damp paper towel for a couple of days and see if I can get them to recover. In short, you can't go wrong with these. Ignore the 1 star reviews, these people would complain about anything. If you can get your 5 star plus 4 star percentage over 90%, you are golden. Definitely would purchase again.

Nice Dried Whole Chiles
What i got these for didn't work out but they are flavorful, quality dried chiles. I grow chiles in my garden and besides a hot pico de giallo salsa we make, I dehydrate them and crush them up and put them in a shaker to spice up the barbeque sauce I use on meat, pork, and in the marinade we use on wings. I tried to dehydrate these chiles further but they just didn't get crunchy enough to grind up well. We will save them for tamales.
