Akhand Diya (Large, Brass)

Very poor quality. Its not original borosil, glass cover is dirty and its half the size shown in the picture. I have had Borosil large diya earlier and it is nothing like that. Very false advertisement. Not acceptable at all. The brass has faded colour and the glass is very sharp on edges...not safe for use. Very cheaply made and completely wrong item to the one advertised. Avoid buying at all costs! Save the time and hassle. You will have to pay for the return and it’s not worth your money and time. Angry to see such poor seller services at Amazon marketplace

I was surprised for a large it was tiny. It also is very hot to touch and so I cannot move it around feeling safe. I'm dissapointed by the size and feel misled, I hope the seller can help me.

Beautiful little diya this is, and a great quality product! If you need it lit up for long time though, buy a bigger version.

I used it as a diya. I will be buying more once they have stoked up on large ones.

Good and well packed

Oil lamp looks good and is well made. Usually used for meditation purposes and is fueled with ghee or coconut oil. In cold conditions the ghee and coconut oil will harden and is therefore unsuitable as fuel for lamp. Fortunately, in Woolworth or Coles, there is a good quality coconut oil in small long half litre bottles that does not harden in cold conditions. This coconut oil is good for use with this lamp but is costly. Safety is of top priority when any oil lamps or tee candles are lighting at home and must be observed at all times. Never leave it lighting unattended and keep away from small children for their safety too.

It a snall but well built diya with all three componets, the diya, the glass round cover and the top cover that fit well without any problems at all. The size of the diya is a little too small but with the amount of ghee or tel put in the lamp easily burns for uptp 3-4 hours. The wick gets placed well and does not leave black carbon, and burns well. The nickle polish diya lasts longer than the brass polished one. The product is a well built, quality product being offered at a good price on amazon. It is a must buy diya for home temples.
