It works great to fend off imaginary monster. It is a plastic katana, and my son loves it.

GREAT product for 7+ kids. unlike other cheap swords this one is very durable and good quality. the sheath CAN break easily but overall its good. the blade is made of a rubber and 100% safe, just don't swing it very hard.

My son loves it!! Good sword quality. Not cheap or easy to break. However the sword case is plastic and did break because I have 2 young boys lol Nothing duct tape and string couldn't fix. But my 8 year old, One Piece Katana lover child is obsessed!

Broken scabbard
Every review I've seen for this product mentions that the scabbard arrived to the recipient broken. Mine was no exception. Other than that, the sword itself looks pretty good and is decent for cosplay.

Jumbo cases
Cases are what gets the 2 star for this purchase. Was looking to use these for my deadpool costume but the cases are 2 times wider than they need to be making this a bad fit for me.
