It is a little hard to use and it doenst created quite enough bubbles for the effort

Top quality like all Haba products, I can see this lasting years. It is very sturdy.Outside of creating bubbles, it is great for practicing cordinated use of both hands. It is a challenge for a toddler to firmly hold with one hand, make sure it stays positioned in the water, and turn the handle with the other hand.My toddler loves bubbles in her bath, and before buying this we'd have to add more water periodically to her bath to churn the water and gets the bubbles back after she had splashed them away. Now I can wisk the water up with this, and she enjoys watching the bubbles grow, all without wasting water. Some reviews said this didn't produce good bubbles, but an adult(or older child) using this produces more bubbles than a shower head or bath faucet does. My 20 month old can do it herself well enough to make bubbles, but it takes more speed and dexterity to fill a bathtub with bubbles. With a normal amount of bubble bath ( we use honest company bubble bath in case you're curious) you can produce a two foot thick layer of bubbles in a bath.We are looking forward to trying this in our water table when it warms up outside.

Great price for a fun bath toy

This is a fun bath toy. My 2 year old is just able to operate it by himself, and my 3.5 year old does a good job using it independently. It makes some decent bubbles. Some reviews mention what a terrible job it does making bubbles. It think they were expecting big, bubble bath, jet tub bubbles! This just makes normal, but fun, bath time bubbles. You do get better results from using bubble bath instead of just soap. I even use the natural bubble bath for sensitive skin (so it’s even less bubbly than normal bubble bath), and this toys still makes good bubbles. Both toddlers like using it, so we bought two! They pretend they are baking cakes, etc. It is a good, simple toy. :)

This whisk is serious for whipping up a lather of bubbles in the tub. My three year old son has a great time turning the handle and watching the bubbles pop up. It also causes a wild, spinning, eddy of water spray.....more fun and smiles! This toy is very well made and sturdy. It has now been dropped in the tub more times than I can count and there are no scratches, pits, or cracks. The handle is located at the very top and cranks easily. No batteries! One word of warning however( hence the four stars not five), depending on the strength of the one turning the crank, you do not want a finger, toe etc. caught in the beater bars! It's a great, playful, interactive, toy/tool to help rejuvenate the fading bubbles in a sudsy bath.....stretches that bubble liquid a bit further and is great to teach your youngster cause and effect.
