Timberland PRO Men's Direct Attach 6 Inch Soft Toe Insulated Waterproof Work Boot, Marigold

My last 3 pairs of work boots were The Timberland Pro steel toe with the rubber toe guard, I really liked them and would get just shy of a year with heavy use. After the price of the steel toe went to $149, I decided to try the soft toe at $100, I paired them with a pair of timberland inserts,...the combination was pure heaven. I can work a 12 hour day and not even want to take my shoes off when I get home. None of my timberlands have required a break in period,..They are comfortable right out of the box. Before timberland, I would purchase red wings, after my first 2 pairs split at the bottoms after only a few months, At the suggestion of the manager of red wings, I spent nearly $300 for a pair of American made red wings as he said they would last longer. After only 3 months the inside lining and padding was falling apart,...I thought, well at least there is a 1 year warranty. WRONG!, they wanted to charge me stating "wear and tear". When I told them I would never buy another pair of red wing boots, they just shrugged there shoulders, an email to their corporate office received no response. I work for a company where work boots are required, and we have alot of employees,...red wings surely lost alot more than 1 customer. Don't waste your money on Red Wings,...Go Timberland!

This is the second time i edit my review as overtime things change and i want people to know how durable these were with me. I work on a farm so im always moving and always on my feet. The first couple months the boots were amazing even water did not get in when the brush was wet. I've had these for about a year know and the boots themselves are still in great condition considering the type of work i do. A couple months in the water did start to seep into the boots in the wet mornings but not much as easy. My biggest problem with these is that the insoles wore out (yea i walk a lot) the insoles aren't as durable as the actual boots. I replaced the insoles and the boots are still in great condition. I did at first give the boots four stars then i edited the review and gave them five, and now im editing the review again and going back down to four just because of the insoles. I still think the boots are a great buy.

Been wearing these for a few weeks now. I love them. Very good quality. Fit is great. They are warm and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

While this is an extraordinarily high quality product, the sizing leaves a great deal to be desired. I ordered one pair in a size smaller than I ordinarily by, and they were way too big both in terms of length and width. I returned them for half a size smaller, and they were still way too big. I ended up having to abandon this product, which I wanted very much, in lieu of something of lesser quality that was better sized. It was disappointing. I am reading the product with four stars because you absolutely cannot argue with the quality of the boots; the sizing is the only issue.

Just got these and put them right on - super comfortable, and no need to break them in that I can tell after wearing them for 3 hours. HOWEVER...and I mention this only because this boot showed up in Amazon after searching for "steel toe boot"...be aware that these are SOFT TOE. This would be obvious if you take the time to actually read the product description, but since my preliminary search was for steel toe boots, I assumed any result would be in that category. If steel toe is not a requirement for you, these are very comfortable shoes. Can't comment on durability/lifespan as they're unfortunately going right back into the box.
