Spin Master Games, Cardinal Classics, 300-Piece Poker Set with Aluminum Carrying Case & Professional Weight Chips & Poker Dice, for Ages 8+

I grabbed this set for a family cabin trip last month because we were tired of using coins for bets, and it’s honestly a solid little kit for the price. The aluminum case is way sturdier than I expected, though it gets surprisingly heavy once all 300 chips are inside. The chips have that nice, professional "clack" when you stack them, which makes even a casual game feel a bit more official. I did notice the cards they include are pretty basic and after a few rounds they started to show some wear, so I ended up swapping them for a plastic deck I had lying around. It’s a perfect starter set if you're just looking to host a few friends without spending a fortune.

Very good quality for the price. I got on sale so it was great! Chips have good weight. The storage case is heavy.

Just arrived today so this is my first impression review. No damage to packaging. Product seems to be in perfect condition. No dings, scratches, cracks or missing pieces. Chips feel sturdy and of good quality. The case feels like it could be a little sturdier but it seems strong enough. Overall I am satisfied with this set and feel this is a good value for the price.

The price is right! Good quality chips and a handsome looking metal case to store them. It goes very well together with my the poker table top and neon lights. Now, everyone wants to come to my poker game.

I bought this specifically to play poker at a birthday party for adults. The case is beautiful and as long as you do not throw it around, should be durable. The latches open easily but it would be nice to have something at least little on the top so you could easily define which way to open it without studying the latches. Maybe just the tiniest little tag on the top would make it easier to use without being obnoxious. The clay material the chips are made of, makes a beautiful clanking sound and have a nice heaviness to them so it gives you a sensory feel of being in a professional game. I really liked that it had extra space to put more packs of cards inside the case. It came with one but I was able to add 3 others and still keep all the dealer chip etc without making the case bulge. Between the area that holds the cards is a small opening that is perfect for putting the dice. I will probably never use those plus several of the other things it had but I'm sure others would. Can't say enough about the clay material used to make the chips. It's why I chose this set and not others. I didn't want those cheap plastic chips. The set is actually a very good value. Most of the ones I looked at were either far more expensive or had those cheap plastic chips. If just buying the chips separately they were still more expensive since this case came with 300. And yes I did count them. The ability to have everything all in one spot inside of a case makes this so easy to use and so much fun. The case is made out of metal on its edges and sides but the rest is a cardboard material. It's a thick cardboard material but still cardboard. It bends easily if overloaded. But since the sides and the corners are wrapped in metal I think you are covered for most normal hits.

El maletin es bonito, pero es de plastico con biseles de aluminio y bordes delgados de fierro. No parece muy resistente pero tampoco frágil. Temía que el estuche saliera roto como lo mostraban otras reseñas, pero se encuentra bien. El interior es de esponja por arriba y un tipo carton con gamusa por debajo. Las fichas estan muy bien, son pesaditas y de tamaño grato. El plástico por ser inyectado se ve algo descolorido y la pintura blanca tiene algunos defectitos, pero realmente son cosas que no afectan la funcionalidad. Como ejemplo trae una ficha muestra que sobresalia del embalaje del producto, esta ficha se ve que es de mejor calidad que las otras, lo ideal es que todas estuvieran asi. En mi caso he de aclarar que los naipes que vienen me parecen de baja calidad, esto creo porque el producto en si, son las fichas, entonces, yo compre 2 juegos de naipes de pvc y los reemplacé porque lo quiero para beber y jugar con amigos. Por ultimo, los dados se ven bastante bien, entonces es un plus. En general estoy satisfecho con la compra hasta el momento, el unico pendiente es comprobar la durabilidad del maletín.

While I was quite pleased with the quality of the poker chips, I found the deck of cards to be of subpar quality. Despite this, I would like to give this product a 5-star rating due to the excellent chips it includes. Additionally, the case provided with the set has an acceptable build quality, although it may not be exceptionally robust, it seems to be reasonably durable.

El paquete llegó bien sin ningún detalle, solamente que la calidad del estuche es mala por lo que no creo que aguante mucho los golpes y que se aplaste. Por lo demás todo bien. Si gustas comprar fichas para Poker y jugar con tus amigos o familia, este es un buen producto con un buen precio.

Bought this set as my friends and I started playing weekly poker and needed some better chips. This set was great! Id buy a second so I have more chips down the line! The chips feel great. I replaced the cards with some better ones, and the case is definitely fragile, but if you treat it with respect, the case will last for sure!
