As a long-time Surface user, I go through pen tips fairly regularly. The nibs tend to wear down over time from heavy use on the screen, causing skipping and imprecise line work. Right away, I could tell the difference in precision. The new tip glided smoothly across the screen with no skipping or catching. Lines were crisp and accurate whether I was writing notes, sketching or doing more precise design work. The pen felt nicely weighted and responsive, just like when I first got my Surface Pen. After a few weeks of steady use, I continue to be impressed by this budget-friendly pen tip replacement kit. The nibs show minimal wear so far and have retained their precision. I have no complaints about premature tip degradation like I've experienced with some third-party options in the past. With 3 tips in the pack, I know I have a couple spares to get me through another stretch once my current nib finally wears down. I could even install a tip on a spare Surface Pen I have.
