Extremely slow to get the product.
Well, this is a tricky one took forever to get. It was supposed to be a Mother's Day gift. Did not get it for 3 weeks afthe. Product itself seems to be perfectly fine.Wait time was terrible.

Tracks well. Looks classy.
Tracks heart rate, steps and sleep consistently. Love that the battery lasts multiple days.Purchased a separate metal strap to match its metal case and it looks classy on a small wrist, compared to the other huge smartwatches designed for men's wrists.App nags about premium subscription.

So useful, but has a few glitches
I love my Fitbit. I use it to attract many facets of my sleep, steps, and heart function, and it can do so much more.Unlike earlier, Fitbit site had, this one has lasted two years. The battery is slowly wearing out or whatever it is Batteries is due.The main glitch was with it has been that when I do workouts it doesn’t accurately report my heart rate erring on the side of too many. It’s been great.

Nice upgrade
I was wanting to upgrade my Fitbit Inspire 2 to the new Luxe. My main issue with the Inspire 2 was how high the watch face part of it was and it was constantly tight in the wrist area when I would wear sweaters/sweatshirts. I am happy that I upgraded and this Luxe watch face sits a little lower and my issue with it being tight with certain sweaters/sweatshirts is now gone. The design of it is great, it has a sleek look to it. I also do use it while I am doing water aerobics. One thing I have noticed is normally when you flick your wrist to check the time on the watch face it should come up automatically (my old inspire 2 was great at this), but I have noticed this one is more finicky. It doesn't always work that way. Not sure if there is another setting to change the sensitivity on the watch face or not. Scrolling on the watch face itself is easy to do.When I do water aerobics, I have to put the water lock mode on. You scroll up to find this option and double tap to lock it. It doesn't always work right away. I have never had an issue with working out with my fitbit in the swimming pool. Normally after class, I will wash off the fitbit with soap and water to rid it of the chlorine.I did decide to put a screen protector on it (SuperShieldz brand for the fitbit luxe). So far this has stood up with me using my fitbit twice a week in the pool.Overall, I am happy with my new fitbit. I am hoping to find a way to change the sensitivity settings for being able to check the time on my fitbit.

The best fitbit I have ever had.
This is by far the best fitbit I have ever had. My last one was the Charge 4. It was a bit too big for my wrist, EXTREMELY bright at night. It would lite up my room at night if I slightly moved my arm. That was so annoying that I often times would not wear it to bed. This Luxe..... I love it. I have had an Alta.. Then the Inspire 1 and 2. Both junk and would not link with anything. This Luxe, despite what others have said is very accurate... It will dim so it is not bright if you use the setting to dim it. It has 3 settings dim, moderate and bright. The face is not that small. My Alta was smaller. I see the face great with the colors especially. It does show me my heart rate, my oxygen rate at night the day after I started using it.It does every thing that it says it does. It is waterproof I have swam and showered with it with no issue. It has a setting for you to lock it if you are going to expose it. All in all I love this for bit. It looks like a watch and wears well if you have a smaller wrist. It fits my small wrist very well. You can buy numerous bands for it. The photo I have added shows just 1 of the many different styles of clock faces you can change in the fitbit app. The face is set on dim in the photo, so it is NOT too bright for night bedtime use. This Luxe also links extremely fast with your phone app right from the box. The Inspires I had NEVER was able to linkThe charge 4 did but it was a much longer process to set up and link. All in all I am EXTREMELY happy with my Luxe. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Way underwhelmed
I’ve been using Fitbit for several years— my first was a Blaze that got three or so years ago and which I knew I needed to replace. So, at the end of August I did what I figured would be an upgrade and got a Luxe.Well, the name is a misnomer. I knew it wouldn’t have all the features of the Blaze— mostly flights of stairs— but I thought it might have had some of the features done better thanks to new technology. Nope! I get regular readings of sleepless nights that I know aren’t the case. And the 2x active minutes for cardio? I mean, that’s ridiculous on its face, but I can live with that, even though there is a demotivational aspect (“oh yeah I’m kinda burnt maybe I’ll cut this session short” it’s bad). But probably the worst aspect of getting the Luxe is that after the first few weeks of use the battery life has notably shortened. A single night of sleep can take a quarter of a full charge. This is equivalent to my Blaze after more than a year of daily use. It’s very upsetting how flimsy the battery is.The other constant annoyance is that every time I launch the app it demands I go to settings to change location settings to “always on.” I mean, remember when people believed Google when it said its motto was “don’t be evil?” I cannot imagine keeping the gps on at all times will do anything positive for battery usage, either. Grumble grumble. Dismiss! Dismiss! Get a clue, Fitbit! Stop making me dismiss!Less constant, but still creepy, are the randos who want to be my Fitbit friend out of nowhere. This is new. Previously, everyone who asked to friend me was someone I knew irl. I assume this wouldn’t have been different had my Blaze not died.I’ve logged a lot of information in my Fitbit app. I hate to make a switch, but if constant annoyance and crappy batteries are what I can expect, especially paired with downgraded functionality and lying “active minutes,” I’m not sure I will be able to resist. It’ll just be a matter of which alternative I turn to.
