Read the instructions and they work perfectly.
Worked perfect. Make sure to buy the starter kit here though as the box does not come with a 20mm bit. Drilled nice and slow and the outers popped in and the fish tails by hand. No hammers needed. No idea the issues some reviews are having. Easy as pie.Hung my TV no issues and super neat job. Measure three times. Drill once.My only quibble is the countersunk headed screws. I got them to work but they are very specific and the ability to have different threads and a flat back screw head would be good.Bar that. Zero issues.

Brilliant!
Very easy to use, and does the job! Used them to attach a mirror and a couple of shelves to a plasterboard wall - very handy and feels very sturdy.

Great for its intended purpose.
Excellent product. Used to mount 4 heavy duty shelves to a drywall. Rock solid and very straight forward. Ideal for single srew mounting applications as long as the mimimum space distance is supported for each fixing. This is the only limitation of this product.

Great design for ANY plasterboard.
They work great in insulated plasterboard. Drill the 20mm hole, take a sharp thin knife, scrape away the insulation at top and bottom of the drilled hole. Tap in the round part of the fixing then place the arms of the fixing top and bottom so the arms open where you removed the insulation. Tap in with the hammer the arms will open up then screw in to complete the job. Very strong fixing. Says on the back of the pack they can be used on insulation backed plasterboard. Only drawback is you have to drill a 20mm hole to start the process. Don't be afraid to hammer the opening arms quite strongly, within reason. I used them to hang IKEA wall hung cabinets.

Superior strength for drywall fixings
So far the best drywall fixings. Adequate strength to hang 200cm radiators. Installation is easy for the amount of weight it can hold.Very happy with the product, as now I have the peace of mind that the big radiators won't come off the drywall.

Ok But
In theory these are a brilliant fixing , in practice I personally found them to be a bit a awkward to fit as the collar fits very easily but the 2 wing piece is overly tight and I found I had to cut small pieces out of wall to enable the wings to push in correctly. Once fitted I thought they left a bit to be desired and I wasn't convinced about them so I tried them with the radiator I purchased them for and they failed to hold it.I will say though if you have limited space on the rear of boarding these are probably a great choice for you it could be a no brainer as they require very little gap. I did also try the other type that you drill a large hole for push in and turn to operate the wings and I found those to be absolutely rubbish. So I ask myself was I expecting to much from these was it user error or was it my newbuilt walls were at fault I really don't know, there are lots of good reveiws for both of the 2 that did work for me so I must be honest it could of been my issue as much as there problemI have now gone back to the old metal star crush plasterboard fixers as I believe this distribute the weight over a bigger area and seem to hold better as well.I hope this helps with your choice.

Strong, well-made, and ideal for tough jobs
These fixings are seriously sturdy – perfect for dot & dab, stud, or hollow cavity walls. The build quality is excellent, and they feel solid once in place. Screw length is generous, giving a secure hold even for heavier items. The overall size is compact yet powerful, and everything included is high quality. A great alternative to standard wall plugs – strong, reliable, and worth every penny for peace of mind.
