It has a special mechanism on top of the gas cylinder for attaching the cable assembly. This gas cylinder won't work for Mirra.

Assembly Instructions Description	The gas lift cylinder requires assembly. Follow these steps to replace the old cylinder with the new one: 1. Add shaft collars between the old cylinder and chair seat. 2. Tighten the lower shaft collar, leaving the upper shaft collar slightly loose. 3. Add a screw, allowing it to press against the surface of the upper shaft collar. 4. Tighten the screws until the chair pops off the old cylinder. 5. Now simply add the new replacement cylinder.
