Q: Is there some stand that works with this so it doesn't lay flat on desk?

No there isn't a stand - but this is a great product. I've had mine for over a year and there's never missed sound and it works really well with teams (others I've had did not). I keep mine on my desk above my keyboard and people tell me they cannot hear sounds around me, only my voice (unless a dog is barking). The sound is always clean and crisp and I've never felt the need for a stand as the sound is good - whether I'm in meetings or doing something on my computer in off time (tv etc)
