Great Alternative To CR123's
I bought these batteries to put in my flashlights that use CR123 batteries and aren't bored for 18650's. They offer great performance and a comparable lifespan to CR123's. While most 16650's are just cells from disassembled computer batteries, these are very good quality batteries at a good value.

Purchased to replace 123a Cells
Purchased to replace 123a Cells in a Surefire flashlight. These work perfectly. They are the length of a standard 18650, the diameter of 123a cells, and the voltage of 2 123a's. They fit perfectly into my Surefire G2X and provide ample voltage. They also charged perfectly in 3 different 18650 charges that I tested. Not sure if the total battery life, but I expect it to be greater than the standard 123a rating. These batteries also successfully powered 2 18650 flashlights, though the fit is loose.

Updated Review from Original 2 star review
These cells did not test out at 1800 mah. One cell of the two went dead after two charge/recharge cycles on an Xtar Dragon lithium cell tester. Not Good. Vendor should use better quality controlThis is an updated Review. The vendor contacted me after seeing my initial review, and promptly refunded my money. It was obvious they cared about the product quality. Not all vendors do care. Therefore I revise the rating to four stars, and I would buy from them again because they do stand by the quality of their product. That is important, and I can tell you that when it comes to Lithium batteries, not all vendors stand by their products.

Holds charge
I suggest running them down but not all the way dead before charging. I'm not sure how many recharges I'm going to get (batteries, even rechargeable, only have so man charges) I've recharged mine a lot and don't see any fall off as they got older. I've had mine over a year or so.Good buy for me

$6 per Ahr ... too expensive
I bought a pair of these and immediately did my usual "capacity check" with equipment, after an overnight charging. The result (see plot) is that the advertised 1.8Ahr capacity was measured as 84% of that or 1.5Ahr, which in itself isn't too far off, but it you calculate the cost / Ahr, it's way high ($6/Ahr). I have tested other batteries that have advertised as 9.9Ahr and 5.8Ahr respectively (from sellers on Amazon), and they are totally off in this capacity advertisement (they measured 12% = 1.1Ahr and 10% = 0.8Ahr ... a joke, ridiculous advertising), and their cost is $8/Ahr and $3.70/Ahr. So, for almost the same resultant capacity, the 5.8Ahr units are a bit more than 1/2 the price of these Taken units (I bought these thinking they would measure very close to what was advertised ... 84% of that advertised value is not good enough for a 5 star rating!
