As expected
Used to add Z-wave to a Raspberry Pi running Home Assistant. A little pricey but well built, simple plug and play, works as expected, small, sleek. Great product.

Works great in Home Assistant
I purchased the "Aeotec Z-Stick 7 | Z-Wave Plus V2 | ZWA010 | 700 series" to provide Z-Wave capability to Home Assistant. It's worth mentioning I'm running home assistant via Proxmox. With regards to using within Proxmox, you have to share the USB device to the HA virtual machine and then HA detects and set's it out straight away. I've since been able to setup multiple Z-Wave devices within HA using Z-Wave JS.Great device does exactly as intended.

Always good products from Aeotec!
I jave a lot of sensors from Smartthings and Aeotec (Aeotec makes the Smartthings sensors now) - motion sensors contact sensors and multisensors.I moved from the Smartthings hub to Home Assistant, so I needed a zwave stick for the multisensors. This stick is TINYmuch smaller than I was expecting but it's working flawlessly with the multisensor 6 devices I have and it looks nice plugged into the hub.I installed the zwave integration in HA, connected the zwave stick and it picked up the devices without issue and the devices have never dropped off the hub or become unavailable. It is a bit on the expensive side, but then again zwave devices are more expensive than zigbee.I would recommend this device for home assistant.

It works.
Purchased to replace a gen 5 stick. I don't know why really, I can't tell the difference on a home assist setup. However it works just fine and was easy to setup.

Set and forget
Setting this up is a little bit complicated, especially the firmware update done through the command line, but once it is up and running it just does its thing...I have a very low numbers of z-wave devices and no repeaters so am pleased the signal covers all my house through multiple walls and ceiling.I have it installed directly to the Raspberry Pi (no extension cord, which is often recommended) and that doesn't seem to have any meaningful impact.Highly recommended, I just wish it was a little bit cheaper.
