Brookstone Portable Mini Personal Fan with Power Bank | USB Rechargeable 2600mAh Battery | Handheld Desk Fan | Whisper Quiet 5-Speed

I bought this little fan to quickly cool off my face and neck when I get one of those awful hot flashes, especially at work. It's very lightweight and easily fits in a larger purse or hand bag. The plastic housing seems quite sturdy, as well as the transparent blades. You can attach an included cord loop at the bottom to easily carry it with you (I work at a school so I can carry it with me from classroom to classroom) or hang it up by. The fan has 5 speed settings easily operated with the button on the front, although you have to cycle through them all to turn the fan off or to go back to the lowest setting. I do find the fan to be noisy at the highest speed setting, but I don't use that speed too often.You can recharge the fan by standing it upright in the holder which has a USB connector, and you can use the included USB power cord to plug into a laptop or PC, or you can connect the power cord to the included wall outlet plug. The fan housing with on/off button can be detached from the handle. The housing has a wider USB connector at the bottom, although I'm not sure of this function. It fits into some of the wide USB ports on my laptop, but only upside down and the fan won't turn on. The battery lasts quite long for me, but I only use the fan for a few minutes at a time, so I don't have to recharge it very often. Overall, a great little device for the price!

This is one of only a few reviews I have written this past year. Once in awhile a purchase pays for itself in usefulness a million times over-and this product is one of those. Buy more than one! I just spent 10 days walking 10+ miles a day in 100° heat on a trip with my son’s school in Italy and Greece. People were begging me for some relief by using the fan even for a few minutes while walking all over in the heat. In Rome someone offered me €50 to buy it off of me 😅. The battery and power is what sets this fan apart from all hand held fans on the market. An overnight charge on the charging station will yield 7-8 hours of fan use the next day. It is STURDY, and powerful. One night I had no A/C in my hotel in Athens, and this was the fan that kept me cool all night. I just left it on, on the charging station for 8 hours. Since we have returned 10 people from our group have also purchased this fan! 10 stars for this one!

I bought this for my teenage son to take with him to camp because it was recommended to have a personal fan since the building they stay in doesn’t have any air conditioning. He gets hot very easily so I think this will work great for him. I love the 5 settings that get progressively powerful. I also purchased a Honeywell personal fan for a few dollars cheaper but I wasn’t sure how well we would like it and wanted to have the Brookstone just in case…I’m so glad I did this because the Honeywell was not nearly powerful enough and only had one or two speed settings so it will be returned. The Brookstone fan is one of those items you never knew how much you would use or enjoy until you own one. I can already see this will get a lot of use. Cool product!

My sister recommended I get this fan as one of her friends had purchased it. I took this portable fan with me to Europe and it was a life-saver! I run warm most of the time anyway, but Europe was having a heat wave and most places dot not have air conditioning, this little fan helped keep me cool day to night! It was great to hold and wasn't too heavy. I love the strap that I could wear around my wrist to keep close and the base was perfect to set on a flat surface like at a restaurant or in the hotel room to cool me off. I can't recommend this little fan enough!

I bought this fan specifically for bowling. My hands sweat a lot and this fan has the power, even on the lowest of five speeds, to keep my hands dry ( as well as the rest of me, LOL). The built in battery re-charges quickly and last a long time. When fully charges, on the lowest setting, I can leave it running continuously for three hours while bowling and it only goes from 4 lights to three on the charge display. Finally, it is so quiet. A great little fan for specific needs. It is small but powerful. Don't compare to a larger 14V fan such as a Ryobi. Each has its own uses and limitations. BTW, this fits neatly in my bowling b.ag. Love this fan. My friend had one and I tried it and I had to buy it. It fits in my pocketbook LOL The battery last a long time, recharges quickly has several speeds and works well.I would suggest anyone looking for a small portable fan to buy this one. Very good quality I have dropped it many times lol still works. It is also quit so you can use it in your office.

Excellent product. It’s portable but definitely not tiny. Not heavy, not feather light, but light enough to throw in your bag and hold without any issues. You can only hear it running when you have it close up to your face, but otherwise it’s a pretty quiet fan.Same price range as numerous no-name brands and Brookstone is a reputable brand of superior quality. As with all Brookstone products, it’s also esthetically pleasing. It comes with a base for USB charging and storing and also a wrist strap. It’s 5 speeds with incredible power. I absolutely love it!
