Pros:- It stands up on its own- Opens wide for easy access- has a back strap for attaching to rolling bag handle (why is this not universal?)- laptop sleeve accommodates 15" laptop- not overly divided - has a laptop sleeve and other than that, mostly wide open- size is perfect for me. No bigger than necessary. Will fit under the seat of almost any jet (inc. regionals).Cons:- Perhaps priceI ordered this backpack thinking it looked perfect but perhaps a little expensive. I reasoned that if it's not perfect, I'll return it. I'm happy to say that it 100% fit my needs and I'm going to order another one for my wife. The perfect bag is subjective but if you're looking for the features I listed, give this one a try.

Great business backpack. Lightweight, lots of pocket’s to organize everything.

This is a very good backpack to use as a personal item. I purchased their large backpack, prior to this one, but the padding was too bulky on that one, so I do not think it would really pack that much more than the small slim backpack. I wanted to contact TravelPro online to see if I received a defective item, but they don’t really have an online “general question” section. I like the structure on the slim backpack, so it’s not flimsy; this may be considered a con for some. It fits nicely under a seat and still allows for some foot room. I would not hesitate to purchase this item again.

I read the reviews about the zippers and went ahead hoping I would be lucky. Here I am 6 months in, two zippers are bad. There is a warranty however none of the warranty links at the TravelPro site work. They are circle back to the model line and it only goes back to the TravelPro home page. Very dissapointing from a historically good brand. Look for something else if you want your $150 bucks to last more than a year.

This is a great backpack. It fits very well under the seat in front of you on a large aircraft or even on a small regional aircraft. I can easily get my 14” Mac Book Pro and my 12” iPad Pro with outer case in 2 out of the 3 slots for tablets and laptops. Although this is the slim or small version it has enough space after my laptop, tablet, full size mouse, cord bag, and liquid bag, a pair of shoes and 1-2 days worth of clothes (rolled up) for work trips. The RFID pouch for passport/wallets is a great security touch for a bit of piece of mind. The best part is the warranty. It looks very nice and can hold more than you would think.

I took a chance and ordered this because I like travelpro gear, figuring maybe it would look better in person. This thing looks like it just crawled out of 1999. It's boxy, it sits weird on your back, and it's also fairly small dimensionally... just bigger than the laptops it would contain.Build quality is really nice, wish the design was better.

Good build quality, can stand up on its own and fit under seat in an airplane just fine. Large cargo compartment is great for a pair of packing cubes, and dedicated laptop sleeve and other pockets cover the rest. Perfect for 1-2 day business trips or to bring with a carry-on for 3-4 days

Plenty of pockets. Thoughtful design for traveller. I was able to carry a laptop and a Macbook Air with various cables, my Bose wireless headphones, two pairs of eyeglasses, and many other things including snacks. A great slim profile and lightweight bag. The zippers sometimes need two hands to close depending on how full the bag is - better firmer zippers might have been better.
