Kipling Alvar Medium Printed Crossbody Bag Cross Body

I love this bag. I bought my first one 12 years ago and a second one 7 years ago. I switch them out every 6 months (seasonal patterns). They are both still in great condition—just like when I bought them. They are washable, roomy, lightweight, and every pocket zips. I love the double main pockets. When I saw this pattern, I knew I had to have it! I now use it every day. 😄 I wish there were more pattern options (poppy floral!) I’d buy more!

I've been a big Kipling fan for years. This is one of the prettiest patterns they've ever put out. Everyone will stop and ask you where you got it, it's a show stopper. The Alvar is so easy to use and I have other Alvars in different colors,they are my favorite model. Two large compartments that open on top, inside the main section is a zippered pocket, two pen holders, one pocket I keep glasses in and another pocket that hold my ipod or cell phone. On the front of the bag is two more zippered compartments. When I'm driving I don't have to even take my eyes off the road to look for something, just reach in a grab it. No digging around, you know right where things are. I also prefer the Alvar because it isn't a deep bag so when wearing the shoulder strap you don't have some fat bulky bag resting against your side. The strap is so adjustable you can carry it as a purse, lengthen it for a shoulder bag or lengthen it more for a cross over bag. Kipling bags can be washed if they get soiled, they last for just short of forever and everything from the quality of the fabric to the zippers is top notch, made to last. It is even prettier in person than the picture, a spring and summer must have :-) If you look around on the web you won't find a better price than here on Amazon, I've looked.

Great size, enough little bags with zipper just what I was looking for, and as always great quality!

This is my favorite design of all the Kipling bags. Multiple pockets which is a plus in a world of designers that seem to think women don't need pockets for some odd reason. The size is perfect as a shoulder bag or tote and the shoulder strap is easily adjustable from cross body bag to shoulder bag. Easy to clean (just toss in the washer and hang to dry; no dryer sheets). Comes in multiple colors and comfortable to wear at the hip or shoulder. My only gripe is that the zipper gets caught too easily on the fabric inside the purse. I had to purchase another bag because the zipper teeth became so enmeshed in the zipper, it was impossible to remove without force and that ruined the bag. Otherwise, this bag is perfect and I bought 2 at the last Prime Day deal. Worth it!!!

I now own 4 bags of the Kipling Alvar style. The size works perfect and the compartments are just enough. As always, the Alvar is quality made, never a missed stitch or hanging thread to be found. This time I wanted a brown hued bag and I bought the soft earthy beige T. It's a very pretty medium brown color, not too dark or too light. For those of you who have been asking-as I did-what the letter T means, it stands for "tonal". The zippers are not silver as in the regular Alvar, they are colored to match the bag. Also the rubber piece around the zipper pull is color matched. On the T model, there is an extra zipper pocket on the back side of the bag. The T is the exact same size as all my regular Alvar bags. If the price is lower on the color you want in the "T" version, go for it. Still a great bag to own.

I love this purse! It has 2 zipper pockets on the top that are separate. Nothing can slip between spaces. I am able to keep everything of importance (wallet, checkbook, eye glass case and makeup in the 2. The pockets are tall enough that everything fits upright so I can just grab, let's say, my sunglasses, and go. The 2 side zipper pockets are perfect. I keep my cell in the middle one and little "stuff" like life savers and lip gloss in the bottom one. I wish it had a key hook inside, but that is the only negative I can come up with.

Roomy. Have used their smaller bag for many years. Love the material.

Just what I was looking for! Great bag, lightweight and many compartments which I like. Kipling bags are made very well with zippers that last and don’t snag. I have one of their fanny packs and it’s 10+ years old and still looks like new!

Love this bag have been a fan if Kipling for a while they are strong but lightweight,the zips are great they glide open.the crossbody strap is long enough for me(i’m 6ft) and easy to adjust this is the 4th bag i’ve Purchased through the global collection and arrived from the states very quickly loads of room a nice cheery colour for these cold damp days well up here in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Really like my new Kipling bag. Genuine quality. Just the right size , can hold everything but lightweight.
