Beautiful, decantable, giftable, and highly poppable and delicious
This is the best popcorn I've found in years outside of Midwest U.S. farmers markets where you can purchase directly from the producer. The vibrantly colored rainbow blend featuring red, blue, white, and yellow kernels is visually stunning when decanted into even a plain glass jar. The mix produces a really pleasing blend of popped sizes, textures, and colors, from small and cruncy to larger and fluffy, and bright white to light buttery yellow. Package instructions feature a stove top oil and pan recipe, but these kernels also pop perfectly in a silicone microwave popper. At about three dollars per pound, the six-pound bag is a great value, and large enough to divvy up and share.

Best Popcorn Ever
This popcorn pops up nice and fluffy and makes a great snack. I use an air popper or microwave popper and both methods work well. Even though I don't use any oil the popcorn has a pleasant flavor so I don't feel the need to put butter or salt on it.

Keep it in the freezer to keep it fresh
This has been my go-to for many years. The rainbow mix is delicious because it gives you a variety of flavors and textures within the popcorn. PS they all pop up regular color and if I use corn oil I have very few unpopped keenels. I keep the unpopped corn in the freezer, except for a mason jar of it kept in the cabinet, from which I measure. That way it lasts a long time.

Pops Good, Tastes delicious, smaller sized
Pops Good but there was about a Tablespoon of un-popped kernels in my air popper. Taste is delicious and airy, very happy with taste. Popped size is on the smaller size so the yield volume is less, requiring more kernels.

Great popcorn
We enjoy the variety of kernels and the freshness. A great majority of the kernels pop too, unlike other brands.

How to make theater style popcorn
Amish Country is the best tasting and tender popcorn. In an Air Popper: Most of our popcorn will pop up very well in an air popper. Any of the following varieties will work well: Medium White, Medium Yellow, Rainbow, Extra Large, Mushroom , Blue, Purple, Red ATTN: Our Ladyfinger, Baby White, and Baby Yellow varieties have been known to simply blow through the fan and cause issues with certain brands of air poppers, please see below for a great popping tip to solve this problem! Pro Air Popping Tip: The best method we’ve learned for preventing popcorn kernels from blowing through the fan is using an oven mitt to cover the popping chamber. Once the kernels start to pop, there will be enough popped kernels to hold down the other un-popped kernels in the chamber so they don’t fly out. Here's a little help if you want to make theater style popcorn. Popcorn is very tasty when Flavacol is added to coconut oil and butter for theater style popcorn. 1/4 cup kernels = 8 cups popped ( is approx 2 quarts = 4 cups = 4 oz ) For 4 cups or 4 oz of popcorn, you'll need about 1 teaspoon of Flavacol. 1/2 cup kernels = 16 cups popped (is approx 4 quarts = 8 cups = 8 oz) Start with about 2/3 of a tablespoon, then taste and add more if needed, because Flavacol can become too salty.
