Takes a while to get used to but persistence pays off. White prone to permanent staining
If you use your ring fingers to press the back paddles like I did with the strikepack then having them hovering over this device it's just too sensitive the slightest touch and the buttons press. You're constantly on edge with the position of your hands cos you don't want to press the buttons by accident. It feels like they're designed to be used with the middle fingers. I'll keep using it and hopefully get used to it. I've not been using it long, if I do get used to it quick i'll edit my review. I feel like I can't focus on my game though because i'm constantly worrying about where my fingers are.Edit: Had it a while now, definitely more used to it but still think the buttons could be less sensitive. If they covered less surface area as well you'd be less prone to pressing them by accident. Also the white one looks nice, but as someone who likes to keep my things looking as fresh as the day I bought them, it's not possible with this colour. Whatever material it's painted in has a satin feel to it and even with clean hands it get's dirt on it. Unfortunately you can't wipe it off. It's not like regular sony controller material where you can just wipe it off. It sets into the colour so antiseptic wipes or even alcohol won't clean it. I'd go for a darker one or a shinier finish if I was to order again. The white doesn't match the existing dualsense colour either.Edit 2: So after speaking to Extremerate on Facebook they have sent me out some replacement screws (as one was missing to fit the unit to the controller), and they've also sent me a new rear shell because of the early staining on my current one. My only gripe now is the oversensitivity. I have become more accustomed to the buttons but would have liked it better if they were slightly less sensitive. Aside form that their customer service is spot on. Friendly and they get issues resolved quickly. I have changed my rating to a 4 star from a 3. At the end of the day they have provided a product a lot of us can't do with out since becoming reliant on back buttons from our Ps4 consoles. It's still a new product so I assume through the next few years we'll see many companies and variations of attachments coming out on the market. If I had to buy this product again I would, while availability of this type of hardware seems pretty scarce at the moment this is in a good price range simply for cutting out the labour costs and following a simple tutorial on YT. If something less sensitive comes out in the future i'll probably change. Anyone used to using their middle fingers for back buttons should probably just disregard my review as it doesn't seem an issue for people that do. Just give it a week or so before making your mind up as it does take a little getting used to, even if you've used back paddles before. Some of the issue appears to be related to how slim the Dualsense is at the bottom of the handles as well compared to the Dualshock 4.

Works perfectly, don’t waste your money on Scuf
I bought a Scuf Impact for £250 which got stick drift twice in a month. The first time it was sent back for repairs and worked for a little before it started drifting again. Scuf take forever to send items to you and to reply to you and it’s impossible to speak to a human. Currently I’m trying to refund the faulty Scuf controller and they’ve marked my refund as completed without actually giving me the refund. It’s so frustrating and I can’t wait for it to be over. Now onto the review, not much to say really, I used a combination of the ExtremeRate and I’m a Caveman YouTube tutorials and can say it sounded a lot harder than it was. I managed to successfully disassemble, mod and reassemble my Dualsense without any issues. Be aware that you should buy a set of ESD tweezers to help take off and put back on some of the smaller parts if you have big fingers. Otherwise the mods come with a set of screwdriver and pry tool with more than enough spare screws if you lose any.Check out my video to see the paddles in action along with the clicky hair triggers that I also installed from ExtremeRate.TLDR: I cannot be happier. Don’t waste your money on Scuf, buy this mod for a fractionu of the price and save yourself the headache!

Become a FPS pro
Super simple installation. (if you don't need the L3 R3 and touch pad)Very informative video on YouTube.Evrything included in one package which is great also added a few extra screws and pins which is a bonus if you lose them... It's a pain to find. However only issue I'm experiencing is the back buttons are very sensitive and I keep pressing them accidentally. Maybe if it was a bit more firmer it would be perfect.Edit 1:I am fully use to the buttons now and can tell you they are perfect and not sensitive.I am now the meta MLG jumping, sliding, shooting, ProPro.Edit 2:Originally ordered on 9/06/21 now its 2/12/21One of the back buttons broke. The one i use for jumping. It has a hairline fracture on it from constant use. Which was inevitable due to it being plastic. From Roughly 200hours cod game play.Still a 5 ⭐ product. It would of been brilliant if they gave spares. Or even make metal versions.

Great product
Once again extremerate have come up with a very neat and tidy solution to having an affordable FULLY remappable paddle kit. I can even remap my touch button. No soldering required if you dont want the ability to map L3/R3 and touch screen. If you do then the soldering is very easy with only 4 soldering points.Tutorial/instalation video on youtube is very clear and well made.Comes with a back plate of your choice, screwdriver, pry tool and a bunch of extra strews.Super easy to remap buttons and the paddles are very comfortable for me. Coming from someone who used a strike pack for years it feels nice to have a wireless controller again.

Great piece of kit and easy installation
I’ve been looking to find a solution for the PS5 dual sense as I’m used to have paddles when playing FPS games. Lately I was using my PS4 controller on PS5 as I have the Sony back buttons for the controller and then I came across this fantastic piece of kit. I was very sceptical at the beginning as I was not too comfortable in taking the controller apart, I gotta admit that the installation is very easy and took me about 30 minutes. I recommend you to watch the tutorial video on YouTube, the best one I’ve found is from a guy called “ Im.A.Caveman” which is very well explained. I did not used the solder as it’s necessary only if you need to remap L3/R3 and touchpad. So far so good, works well and feels well too. If I need to find a fault would be that the paddles are a little bit too easy to press compared to the Sony one, I’m getting used to it and I’m not pressing them by accident but a little bit more resistance on the actual paddle would have been better. Other than that I’m super happy !
