This set was even more awesome than I was expecting to be honest! Lots of pieces to play with and the wood is hefty - making it good quality that you can tell will last a long time.There are fun little details - like the pray bottle trigger actually moves, changeable heads on the hairdryer, nozzle on the hairspray goes up/down.Our 4 year old loves playing with it and I have high hopes it'll last a long time. I would buy it again and would also recommend to a friend if they were looking for something like this.

She literally used it until it was in pieces. And is a durable set. So. I think we got this for her when she was 3, and the pieces were safe for her to use.

I'm a toddler/preschool teacher so these get used alot everyday. The kids were so excited. It has been a fun way for them to further their beauty shop play. I bought one kit and there are enough pieces that in a group of 5 kids, each one has something to use while waiting for one of the more popular items.They seem like they will hold up pretty well but on day two the hairdryer broke into two pieces. I used some good ole Elmer’s and it’s been fine since so I'm not too concerned yet, just a little inconvenient. That’s why I rate at only 4 stars.

Such a fun gift for toddler and young kids!

I am a hairdresser and this has become my go to first birthday gift for my friends children. I always include a note that says they have to start early to be a prodigy ;) Very good quality and love that all the pieces are wood instead of plastic

I purchased these for my 3 year old toddler who is always trying to play with mommy's stuff. We both love that there are certain functional items on each tool - for example the trigger on the spray bottle moves, the straightener has some resistance and pops back open just like a real one, the hairspray has a "functional" nozzle etc. These seem durable since they are made out of wood. I love that my toddler can mimic being in a salon and playing safely while still getting tactile feedback on his tools.
