Best spine label covers! Easy to use! Adds a nice protective cover for the spine label!

I purchased these because I had hoped to trace over some label text with a permanent marker to customize labels for different storage containers. Unfortunately sharpie didn't show up very well - kind of streaky and translucent. I ended up painting swatches and free handing text using pen on top for my art storage which looks fine but just isn't the original idea and won't work for other categories that are less crafty. That said, I still feel like this deserves 5 stars because they absolutely don't claim to be good for writing on top of so that was just an experiment from me. They are clear, the right size, sticky, and easy to peel off the backing. I did end up cutting off strips of ~4-6 labels at a time to work with to avoid them unrolling. I will say that the pen I ended up using did not dry well so I didn't stick the labels on very well leaving some bubbles. They aren't really visible to the naked eye but show up much more in the photos.

I purchased these to use on the spine of my classroom library books. I put them over the label to protect the labels. They work great. They are very adhesive and clear. I ended up using them for all kinds of things. The only issue is that you can't tell if you already removed a label from the plastic. I am not sure how to fix that but it is really annoying. I discovered you can tell by feel. I will continue using these in my classroom.

The quality and value of these labels are excellent. I have used them in my school library for years and they hold up really well. The adhesive is very sticky and fit perfectly over book labels.

Perfect for book labels

I use essential oils with perfumers alcohol for room and linen sprays. These clear labels protect my hand written labels from the oils and from when I wipe the bottles down. Edit: Such a good value- Labeling a library of school books. I am beyond impressed with clarity, adhesion speed, adhesion permanency, and ease of application. Applying over 1 x2 5/8 label, and They. Are. Perfect! 10 months later: adhesion great, crystal clear, I also buy the Zonon 4x2” for the thick books, and the really shiny/plastic covers. 10 stars. Survives kids well. Hard to see the lines even with a flash, just outside the 5160 size label.

When doing d I y products and your labels are not waterproof this is a good label to put over your label to make it waterproof
