They're waterproof, and comfort-proof, and quiet-proof, and pocket-proof, and fit-proof . . .
Well, they work. They're waterproof, that's for sure. There's two stars right there. Now on to the cons:I ordered a small, thinking that they would be large enough to fit over a pair of work pants, and I was right about that. I didn't expect them to also be able to fit over another ten pairs of pants after that. They're huge! They're off length-wise, too: I'm about a 32 for pant length and they're all bagged up down by my boots. The fabric is also really, really weird: it's like pants made of paper with a waterproof coating on it. Feels cheap, probably because it is cheap. I'm not mad, since they were $15 and so I expected cheap, but it's worth mentioning. They're loud and crinkly as hell. Not that I really care, since most rain pants are, but they're not really swishy-swooshy like regular rain pants. More chip-bag crinkly than anything else. Also no pockets.___Overall, a swing and a miss.

Mostly waterproof, but not in the crotch
I have used these rain pants only twice, both time bicycling, since I bought them a few months ago. The first time they kept me completely dry. The second time I rode in pretty rainy weather for 45 minutes, and arrived at my destination with my crotch completely soaking wet (but my legs completely dry). The material they are made of is magical in that it's not slick or waterproof-seeming, but it really is waterproof. The seams in the crotch seem to be sealed, but clearly something has gone awry. I will not actually be able to use these if they can't keep me fully dry above the knee.

RUN LARGE
Okay. I'm a big, burly dude. 6'2" 230. I wear a 36/32 in Levi's for reference.I was planning on using these for hunting, as it's supposed to rain pretty much constantly during my trip. And it's gonna be cold. So I planned on wearing these over my Cabela's Wooltimate pants, which are pretty thick. So I ordered an XL.CIRCUS TENT!That's what the XL should be described as. Waaaaay too big, even for my needs. Hope this helps someone else avoid the same mistake. Returning for a LI gave 3 stars cuz I've been wearing a Frog Toggs jacket and it's working out great for the price - so i know they perform.

Terrible product
In my twenty years of ordering from the internet, this is likely my worst purchase of all. The fact that they are "Amazon's Choice" is quite bothersome. To start with, the pants are extremely baggy. Like MC Hammer parachute pants. The material is also very stiff, and is not the typical rain suit material. They make for a terrible fit, and are quite unconformable. And lastly, I wore the pants for 6 hours, and the cheap material was frayed is large areas along the backside of the pants. These rain pants are less than one star. Do not buy them.

Truly Water Proof!
I ordered these on Prime shipping because I was participating in a 100-mile bike ride and the forecast called for temps in the 40's and rain most of the day. These are super lightweight yet durable and shed the rain like nothing else I've ever owned! They were not very breathable, however so by the end of the day may pants were wet from sweat. Just hiking would probably be fine, but they are not meant for High-aerobic activity like running or cycling. These also blocked enough wind that I was not cold at all, even after 6 hours of soaking sweat.I will say that, as these are not designed for biking; they took a beating from wearing/rubbing on the seat and will probably not last as long as they should - but that is from my using them outside their designed parameters. Also, they are designed to be "overgear" so they do fit a bit like M.C. Hammer pants (if you recall the early 90's). A surprise that helped was that the surface is cloth-like enough that I was able to use velcro straps which held to the material and wrapped around my leg to hold back the excess material.TL:DR - Even though I was stretching their limits wearing them for a 100-mile bike ride, they performed better than I could have imagined.

Medium Size Is Just Right
The medium size is just right for me at 5’ 11” and 190 pounds. Also, my normal pant size is 36 - 32. Hope this helps folks trying to figure out what size to order. I tried them on, and yes, they’re baggy, but it’s no problem to get them on while fully clothed and wearing sneakers. Haven’t had a chance to wear them in rainy weather yet.

Great value.
Perfect for the purpose! I wanted to pair of breathable pants I could slip on and off over my outdoor gear, and these are the ones! I took them sea kayaking in Alaska and they fit the bill perfectly. It rained almost the entire time but I stayed perfectly under these. (My GoreTex parka actually let me get a little damp.)These are too baggy for hiking, but for something you can slip on over your boots and pants, they're perfect! Also, they were more breathable than I expected. Even though I was actively paddling for several miles, I had no problem with them retaining sweat. Great value.

Stinky, strange material..don’t waste your money
I chose these pants from my fiancé’s Birthday wish list. I assume he chose them for their affordability. These were a total disappointment when I unwrapped them. They smell terrible. The material is something that’s difficult to describe. They are similar to a very heavy paper towel with some plastic coating. I don’t imagine these would be washable and wearable and they don’t hang like actual clothes. Maybe you’ll wear these Over another pair of pants and throw away. I’m embarrassed to present them to him on his birthday.

They work
I work as a motorcycle instructor and these frog trousers are the real deal! Way better than conventional storm trousers. I have also worked them on over my boots several times because I'm stupid and so far they haven't ripped.

Unpleasant material
I guess if you need a rain pant - these might be OK, but the material is unpleasant, and crinkely and loud and has no stretch, so it's very hard to bend my legs because they were too tight on me to bend my legs (I ordered Large based on other reviews saying they are sized really large for the size (I'm 6 feet tall). )They have no pockets, and they are fairly bulky, so I'm sure you can find pants for the rain to throw over your regular pants that will pack down considerably smaller than these. But they do have taped seems.

overly baggy and missing features from the description images
pros: sturdy construction, strong seams.cons: no pass through pockets as advertised, no zippered leg openings. would accommodate a family of four in a pinch.hopefully the images will be updated by the time you read this. I ordered these based on them being described as having passthrough pockets and zippered legs. The pair i received did not. I'm 6 ft 1 and 175ibs. I ordered the medium. These pants are ridiculously baggy even over a pair of jeans, and could easily fit multiple people. Unfortunately, due to living in a city which currently has a red status level of Covid-19 I'm not able to fully explore this option as they are not quite 2 meters wide.

DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY. Not at all as advertised: there's no pockets, no zippered ankles, definitely no layers of insulation. The material is thin, similar to reusable shopping bags, but less durable. It feels like it will rip if I so much as look at it the wrong way. They are not at all warm, likely not waterproof, but I'm still hoping for a refund so I'm not about to test that. I ordered a medium but they fit like an XL. I really hope I can return these / get a refund, because otherwise they're fit straight for the trash. I would feel guilty even donating them because they are legitimately so terrible, and I doubt they would survive a single wear. I tried them on once for about twenty seconds, then immediately put them back in the package to return.
