Perfect for my first SW Black Series Figure
While the gun in the photo didn't make the cut to be mass produced with this figure, I'm glad to report that that doesn't take away how awesome this figure really is. Let's get into it. Pros: 1. Paint/Attention to Detail I always appreciate when I can get my money's worth on a figure and K2 is no exception. The paint "scuffs" and "scrapes" that were added to this figure makes it come to life and look like K2 has stepped into your home from the Star Wars universe. 2. Articulation From what I've gathered from the Rogue One trailers, K2 isn't meant to be a super agile and nimble character. That being said, this figure has enough points of articulation for you to put K2 into a ton of poses which gives you tons of options for display. Now while I love this figure, nothing is perfect. Here are some minor issues I have with it. Cons: 1. Balancing issues Because of K2's design (big top half and tiny feet) you need to make sure that you get him properly balanced before making him stand, otherwise he could topple right off your table/shelf/desk. This isn't difficult, just something to keep in mind before leaving him in one place for a while. 2. Bent Plastic Antenna Again, another minor gripe. Because of how my figure was packaged, the smaller antenna on K2's back was bent slightly. Nothing a little heat can't fix. Overall: I was hesitant to get into the Black Series line simply because the detail on the figures didn't seem that great to me. But K2 has exceeded all of my expectations and I highly recommend him to fans of Star Wars, the upcoming Rogue One, or action figures in general!

Expecting this guy to be the breakout character from the new Star Wars. The figure is an excellent representation of the character and I could find very few flaws. If I had any gripes it would have to be the paint. Some might (and that is a VERY big might) have to be touched up. But overall the paint job is still above average! The articulation on him is EXCELLENT!! Small issue is that some joints are fragile and need to be handled carefully and not forced or you could be wrecking him. I know some folks are upset he didn't come with accessories. Well, I'm not. I knew he didn't and that's not a problem.

THIS IS THE BEST
I never got the appeal of figurines, so this was the a first for me. I was VERY pleased by the quality and amount of detail in the figure, but what really sold it for me was the amount of articulation. Because K-2SO is a bot, it makes the joints appear much more natural than that of human figurines. The overall appearance is gorgeous and what's best- you can pretty much put this bot in any position If you love K, get this. So worth it.

Great Addition to the Black Series Figures but Lacking Accessories
This is probably my 4th Black Series figure and so far I really like them all. I’m impressed that Hasbro is putting out such nicely detailed and fully articulated figures at such a reasonable price. They may not be as well made as some of the more expensive Star Wars figures from Figuarts or Revoltech and in fact they don’t have as many accessories or as much articulation, but you pay far less for the Black Series at around 1/5th the cost. Also, the Black Series figures are still nicely detailed, painted, and do a good job looking like the characters. This K2SO is no different. At the $20 and under range, it offers a very nicely detailed, painted, and articulated figure. While the articulation is fairly stiff it is better than loose and it offers many points of articulation and in fact some of the best I’ve seen from the Black Series. I count at least 27 points of articulation if not a few more even. Despite the articulation the figure can be a little hard to pose I think due in part to the height and lankiness of the limbs. While this is around $20 compared to more expensive figures, this figure literally comes by itself. There is no included blaster, or weapon, or spare hands or head, literally just the figure here. Figma, Figuarts, and Revoltech all tend to come with stands, hands, weapons, hair, faces, etc… They really add a lot of variety to your posing options which is very nice but at a much higher cost. Still, of all the Black Series figures I own, this has been the most bare bone figure and it is at least a little disappointing. The mold here is done great and it is very detailed. It helps that this is a droid which makes hiding joints easy or unnecessary entirely. The chest and the head are very nicely detailed and look just great. While the figure is mostly black, the pain job is decent to average. It doesn’t look particularly sloppy but it doesn’t look like a lot of care went into the painting details. Usually a paint job like this doesn’t take away from the figure so much as it doesn’t really add anything to it. I like the figure a lot and if the character turns out to be as amazing as previous droids in Star Wars like R2 or BB8, then I will probably like this figure even more so. For now, 4 stars is good considering the lack of accessories and the fact that I don’t have much context to really like the character yet but I will update my review should the movie change my mind here. Other than that, this is a great figure at a nice price point and I can easily recommend it to Star Wars fans.

When it comes to droids or characters wearing armor, as opposed to those with human faces, Hasbro is often on par with the (more expensive) imports, or even surpasses them. This K-2SO is an example of the latter, at least in my book. I believe Hasbro has some kind of standard articulation scheme and mostly reuses it from figure to figure, with some adjustments and alterations. This might not be true of course. But it doesn't matter. K-2SO has an entirely different and unique articulation model. Almost as if the droid's non-human form allowed the designers to not limit themselves with the existing rules and just let their fantasy loose. As a result, it has so many joints I've almost lost count of them. Heck, I've kept finding new joints throughout the whole evening after getting the package. And they are well placed too, and quite logical. Another nice touch is the paint application. All the weathering, all the fine details are there. The only odd thing is red eye pupils. Apparently there is a variation, some versions of K-2SO come with white eyes, some with red, as did mine: red eyes, take warning. But this is not screen accurate. There is a possible issue with the choice of clear plastic in the joints. Various owners report joints loosing stiffness after moderate usage. Something to be aware of, but I just can't knock a star for that. Even without any accessories (a blaster would have been appropriate; he wanted one, right?), even without any interchangeable hands (probably won't ever appear in the Black Series), I still think this is a perfect rendition of Kay in 1/12 scale. Do you know the probability of this being the best Black Series figure ever? It's high. It's really high.

sempre alta qualità dai prodotti black series da 6 pollici, unico neo, è che il corpo è molto pesante e ha difficoltà a rimanere in piedi.
