not serviceable; actively prevented service
I have been a devoted Moen customer for 3 decades. I bought this Moen 6345BN, 8-Inch Fixed Rainshower Showerhead, Brushed Nickel to replace a previous Moen shower head that had provided may years of service -- I replaced it just because it was gummed up from 19 years of hard water. This 6345BN looks like a typical rainhead shower. It screws onto a normal shower pipe with no problem. However, it has a knurled nut on the end. I tried to remove this nut, but it was stuck. After I was able to get it off with a lot of force, I noticed that Moen had thread-seal on the threads, drilled a hole in the side of the nut, put a sleeve in the hole, and then what appears to be solder. Specifically to prevent people from removing the knurled nut. What? Why knurl the nut? And now, because of the solder it isn't possible to put the nut back on.I've never seen a product like this before and was actually angry from this. So at that point, not having a functioning shower, I had to drive down to the hardware store and buy whatever non-Moen product was available.I have been a loyal Moen customer since 1989. But this $72.03 is the last that Moen will ever get from me again.Scott

No flange
This showerhead did not come with a flange to cover the tile cut-out. So, if you are just switching out the showerhead and the flange you already have will work, fine, but if you need a matching flange, this is not what you want. My plumber said he'd never seen a showerhead not sold together with a matching flange and it is now costing more money and time because the parts didn't come together.

It Works Well Enough, Could Deliver More Water, Expensive
This is a great looking showerhead and is clearly made from quality materials. Throw some thread tape on the shower spout, screw this on, and you're good to go. Moen's Water(non)sense technology is at work here, reducing the flow of water to less than optimal. You can work around this particular problem if you take a look at it, but even then the flow isn't spectacular. If you have exceptionally hard water, like I do, you'll find yourself needing to rub your hand over the individual spouts to break off the crud and get it back to delivering maximum water every once in a while and you'll eventually end up soaking it in white vinegar to break up the sediment. This is just a fact of life with these rain shower heads.I kind of wish I would've bought two for my shower and plumbed them both in but I did have a budget to stick to and one of these things are expensive enough.

Good product after removal of water restrictor.
Our application was not on the ceiling. That is to say it comes out from the wall and sprays at an angle. In this application the stream was weak, it didn’t even reach the other side of the shower initially. However, then I did some minor disassembly and removed the plastic water restrictor with a nail and a hard tap from a pair of pliers and now it works much better. Of course that does increase water usage though. It is constructed of all metal so seems very durable and high quality. Matches our other moen brushed nickel fixtures perfectly. Installation is a breeze with an adjustable wrench and pipe tape.

rain can pro and con
Easy to install, purchased the goose neck shoerhead attachment from Moen to install with. Easy to install. We replaced another Moen shower head and tbis one has significantly less water pressure. Different, some people may not like this about the rain can fixture. The water also falls straight down. No adjustment possible use our other showerhead, so pros and cons. I find it relaxing and as a woman I fit under the water stream well, my husband not so much and can be chilly.
