Works really well
Purchased this to carry my injectable medication while traveling. Took a10 hour each way road trip, plugged the usb in the car and it worked fabously. Stayed cold the entire time, and the case is solid & secure. I was able to store 2 injectables inside with no problem. I will be traveling by plane in June. I will see how it does without being plugged in the entire flight. Only a 4 hour flight so I think the ice pack with hold.

Well Made Products and Excellent Customer Service
Two products purchased from 4AllFamily, the Nomad Big 48H and the Explorer 72H. The Nomad is well made and kept my medications cold for well over 24 hours, until refrigeration. It held 2 large prefilled syringes, 1 pen auto injector and 2 BD needles, with room to spare. US TSA inspected my carry-on bag on numerous trips, without any questions or concerns with the Nomad cooler and “frozen” biogel ice pack. If the biogel ice pack isn’t frozen on the return trip, pack it in a checked bag.4AllFamily has an amazing customer care team and takes quality control issues seriously!I recently purchased the Explorer 72H. Although functioning, there was an issue with the product. I sent a message with pictures and my concerns about using the product directly to 4AllFamily (not Amazon) on 1/23/25. I received a prompt and very polite response from Maria C. She assured me that I would receive a new item for my upcoming travels and followed up with me several times. I received the replacement item on 1/25/25, just 2 days after my initial contact with 4AllFamily. I commend 4AllFamily for valuing their customers and for excellent customer service.

this is a must have if you travel with meds that need to be kept cold
I'm very impressed with this bottle, I like the fact that I can plug it in and keep my meds cold even with the freeze bottle in. for someone that does travel a lot for work it has been a game changer for me and to have the battery pack with it makes for the plane trips an easy pass-through TSA. I only wish this would have come out about 10 or 15 years ago.

Amazing!
This is a life saver! My daughter has Crohn’s Disease and is on Humira. We took a month long trip to Europe and needed a way to keep her medication cold. This worked like a charm! We froze the ice pack at our VRBOs and used the fridge option when we were driving long distances. I don’t think we could have kept her medication cold without it. Highly recommend!!

The frozen biogel works very well but the fan attachment is not efficient.
I bought this product to carry my insulin pens on a trip to Europe. The pros: the outside canister is great. It is metal so can't break, large enough to hold the biogel plus 3 Lyumjev and 2 Lantus solostar pens. The biogel really does last a long time (long enough for a flight from San Francisco to Milan with a 2 hour layover). Cons: the cap with the fan and charging cord doesn't really do much. The fan has started up consistently, but without the frozen biogel, it doesn't really cool the container down. Also, the insulin pens get really cold if they are placed right next to the frozen biogel. I wasn't sure if they might freeze, so I wrapped the biogel in one layer of bubble wrap. This reduced the number of pens the container holds from six to five. But since five pens are more than enough for my trip, that wasn't a problem for me. Summary: Overall, I love this product since I have spent years carrying my pens onto planes with frozen water bottles, etc. I've read reviews that said the container is too big, but I found the size to be just right. It fits easily into my small backpack. I guess the peace of mind it brings is it's greatest benefit. It just needs a better fan.

Worked Great
Just went on a 3 week trip to Europe and this worked great! When at the hotel i put it in the refrigerator if possible and before we would leave a hotel i would ask them to freeze the insert for me. TSA seemed to know what it was but in France they were a little confused but eventually let it go thru:)

The very expensive USB cap seems like a gimmick
I use Humira Pens and do a lot of travel that requires me to keep them below 46 degrees F. This holds 3 of these rather large injectable pens. If you have smaller pens for other medicines, you should check their accurate chart. The basic product, which you can buy inexpensively without the USB fan cap, works well for about 24 hours of travel, assuming this is sitting in your carryon bag and not exposed to high temperatures. The USB powered (no battery backup) fan did not seem to add any additional life to the low temperature environment needed for my drug, and the cap alone without the freeze pack is useless. The big problem is because there is no battery in the cap, you need to have a constant USB power source. Perhaps on car trips you could manage this, but when traveling it becomes an impossible task. Even if you hook the cap up to an external battery, you can't keep it in a bag surrounded by other items, because it needs a way exhaust the hot air to cool the internal plate. Just skip this and go for their basic bottle with the gel freeze pack.
