Does this leave a white residue on clothing?

It can. Sometimes the clear will not but the solid can. It does come out if you spray it before you wash it with like shout or something.

Can this be used on back of neck or under breast

I wouldn't. I use Lume for those areas. The Mitchum is crumbly and weird. I ended up returning it. I like Lume for private areas because it's non-toxic and actually destroys the bacteria. It isn't an anti-perspirant though, just a deodorant.

Is this the bottle with the twist dial and little holes on the surface that the deodorant comes through?

No it is not. This is the solid gel. So it's solid like normal deodorant but made from a gel like substance. This means it doesn't like white stuff on your shirt or make ugly armpit balls.
