This stuff is amazing!
This stuff is amazing. My friend who is a certified dog nutritionist recommended this enzyme to add to my dogs food now that we have switch him from kibble to The Honest Kitchen base mix and human grade protein (fish, beef, bison, lamb). He has a severe allergy to Poultry (chicken is the worst), but his skin irritation, mood, and energy has improved incredibly since making the switch. He wasn’t properly absorbing all of the nutrients when we first switched, so my friend recommended adding this enzyme into his food. Within 24 hours, I noticed an improvement with his BM’s and I feel like it’s helping get every bit of nutrients he can. Also, no more throwing up bile. I’m so incredibly thankful!

Great product
One of my pugs was a poop eater. I thought maybe he was lacking in some nutrients. I started him on the Digest and within 3 days he stopped eating poop. He hasn’t done it since, he's been on it for 2 months. I definitely recommend this product for dogs who are poop eaters or who have digestive problems.

Our 11 pound chihuahua says "thank you" for this product.
Our 10 pound chihuahua that was barely digesting food, has completely turned around due to this product. At the age of 13, he's digesting properly, he's up to 11 pounds, and his "number twos" are less common and healthy looking. His coat is no longer dry. He even stopped having accidents inside the house. Given his size, we only give him 1/8 a teaspoon each night, so the jar lasts three months. Thank you so much for changing the life of our dog.

It seems to help
I like this for my pups who are picky eaters that sometimes have tummy issues. I have Chorkies, they are about 14 lbs and are deemed healthy with regular vet visits. I have been told that with small dogs, they can be picky eaters and sometimes have a bit of stomach acid in the morning. Mine are picky and they seem to have days where they don't feel great which could be stomach acid, eat grass and forgive the description, but will cough up a little bit of yellow foamy yuck. But after I started giving this with some wet food in the morning, it seems to help them an awful lot. They still sometimes have a tummy issue, but much fewer and far in between. I will continue to buy this. I generally use half of the dose as I combined it with their other Probiotic Protect.

I like this brand, not cheap but good ingredients and works better than others. I always give daily probiotics.

Disagree with dosage recommendation!
It's too early to tell if product is working. But from experience Betaine HCI and OxBile really help with digestion. I am glad to finally find a product for dogs that have Betaine and OxBile. Most people take anti acids when they need to take OxBile and Betaine to make digestion easier. Same with dogs. My problem is with the dosage recommendation. No way should you give a 3-15lb dog the same dosage as a 30lb dog. They recommend 1/4 teaspoon 1-30 lbs. I think under 15lbs 1/8 teaspoon should be plenty to start and see if it works before you go to 1/4 and given with the biggest meal of the day you're dog eats. If the reflux gets worse then the dog has to much acid. If the reflux improves a little then maybe you need the full 1/4.

Works
One of my dogs started to have problems vomiting. The vet was no help so I researched and came across this and also the idea of giving her over the counter medication for acid reflux. She is doing so much better so I recommend this.
