Plastic lens
This review is for the 10x magnifier.I use 10x loupes everyday at work. I decided to get this because I thought it would be nice to have a larger field of view and built in light if I needed it. Current Amazon description says the lens is glass, but it is plastic, and that was obvious the first time I looked through it. The Eschenbach website confirms that it is plastic. I didn't return it because it's not a huge difference, except I only use this when I need the built in light, otherwise I reach for one of my smaller loupes.
