Stainless Steel Snap Set, Marine Grade, 80 Piece

Product looks n acts just as described so far so good..too early to comment on sturdiness etc as only put them in place a few weeks ago but easy to work with n appear to be good quality as itiginal from Taylor Made

I bought this set up to attach the carpeted floor mats to the floor, and the snap feature made this very convenient to remove them! The installation tools are high quality, and work really well. I also received very good instructions (which had pictures and was in color) with this purchase. I will buy them again!!!!

These look great but they are very small. My bad I guess. I have been boating and working with canvas personally (not professionally) for over 20 years. I didn't know they had smaller sizes like this. Never seen any this size on any boat. They say 1/2 inch on the bag, which is the width of a button cap. I will have to go measure my "NORMAL SIZE" ones now to see that the difference is. I will keep them. they are cute. Will use someday for something.

The snaps are very light duty. Came apart when I used them. Good for thinner material.

They were just I was looking for. I don't know if this is a name brand for the snaps, but they were good. This set contained caps, sockets, Studs and Posts. They were well made and good enough for my projects. It said they were corrosion resistant and I will see it.

I got these with a kit to make a custom canopy for my boat which already has a bunch of these little buttons. I bought the boat used, no covers, so I am going to attempt to make one. I like the quality of them and exactly the same size as the ones on my boat. Very pleased....1982 Reinelle 17ft runabout....

Worst snap set I've ever tried to use. Every time I tried installing the button part with my snap tapping tool, the barrel of the button part would deform which kept me from being able to finish a full set. I tried several times and the barrel kept deforming because it was so cheaply made. I got frustrated and threw the whole 80 piece set in the garbage. I ordered the tapping tool as part of a kit which included 6 sets of heavier duty button heads that worked every time I used my tapping tool. If I were you, I would not waste my time or money on this 80 piece set!

Work well, snap tight. I used a hammer, transfer punch, and block of wood to start the rivet, then turned it over to the flat side to finish the rivet. It flattened the button a little, but it works fine and looks distinctive.
