These replacement batteries for the 888 radio (and comparable models by others) are a solid performer and fit/latch tightly and seem to deliver as promised on mAh ratings (though I have not technically load tested them).Another way I have used these replacement battery packs is as a 'donor' for rebuilding HT battery packs for other brands/models of radios that may not be readily available as a stand alone off the shelf product. Given the compact size of the actual cells/BMS and them performing at an honest capacity, I have repurposed more than one to give new life to other old battery packs/radios. Only do this if your are comfortable/competent at electronics work as doing so incorrectly will likely result in letting the magic smoke out of your gear!

The batteries do not fit the radio. Your mistake not mine. They were not shipped in package with a hazmat label, and now to return them, it needs that label or to be shipped with the device it goes in. So, for that reason I will just flush $21.00 and move on.
