How Do Dinosaurs Say I Love You? : Yolen, Jane, Teague, Mark: desertcart.in: Books Review: I absolutely love this book. My grandson did too,so much that he kept saying "Again Nanny" so cute almost made me cry it was that lovely. Highly recommended for you kids who love dinosaurs. Review: I love the who "How do dinosaurs..." series (and, more importantly, so does my 4 year old boy!) There is a nice cadence to the rhythm and rhyme, the messages are always on-point and the illustrations are so much fun. The illustrations in this series feature a variety of families in typical situations, only instead of a child pictured in the family, it's a dinosaur. I love how there are different species of dinosaurs woven in, too. This book is my very favourite and speaks to how families always loves their "little dinosaurs" (i.e. children) even when they do wrong, without advocating or encouraging bad behaviour in kids. Five stars for this book and the rest of the series!

Effectiveness: This book has become an essential part of our bedtime routine and has genuinely helped my 4-year-old understand different ways to express love and affection. Jane Yolen's approach of first showing what dinosaurs DON'T do, then demonstrating positive behaviors, really resonates with children. My daughter now references the book when she wants to show love, saying things like "I'm going to hug you like the dinosaurs do!" The rhyming text keeps her engaged throughout the entire story, and she's learned to anticipate the pattern, which builds reading confidence. It's been wonderful for sparking conversations about feelings and appropriate ways to show we care about family members. Quality: The production quality is outstanding, as expected from this beloved series. Mark Teague's illustrations are absolutely stunning - each dinosaur has such personality and expression that brings the story to life. The artwork is detailed enough to keep adults interested while remaining accessible and engaging for young children. The hardcover binding is sturdy and has held up perfectly through countless readings and little hands turning pages. The paper quality is excellent with vibrant colors that make each page visually appealing. Jane Yolen's text flows beautifully with a rhythm that makes reading aloud enjoyable for parents and easy for children to follow along. Value for Money: This book delivers incredible value for the price. The educational content about expressing emotions appropriately, combined with the entertainment value, makes it worth far more than what you pay. We've read this book hundreds of times over the past year, and it never gets old - both my daughter and I still enjoy our reading sessions together. When I consider the positive impact it's had on teaching emotional intelligence and the hours of enjoyment we've gotten from it, this represents one of the best book purchases I've made. This has become one of our absolute favorite books and I recommend it to every parent looking for quality children's literature that teaches valuable life lessons!
