I love my step ladder so much. I know that sounds silly but I've been finding the most happiness in the little things that make my life easier. This step ladder does that. Last year I bought a smaller plastic one and it scares the heck out of me because it cracks and slides. I decided it was time for an upgrade so I waited till it went on sale and snatched it up. It feels very sturdy but it's not too heavy to move around the house. It opens easily and is simple to set up. I have put it on all kinds of flooring and it never has never slid when I was on it. Great height, too! It takes up a little bit of space when it's open, but that's to be expected. It folds up nearly flat and can slide into small spaces to be stored. And for what it's worth, I weigh about 230 lb and this thing doesn't even flex under my weight. Great buy!

This ladder locks into place and feels sturdy. You could easily store it and it's not too heavy to move. My only complaint is that there's not a whole lot of room between the steps. When using it, my foot frequently hits the bottom of the next step. I haven't fallen yet, but keep this in mind when you purchase. Still an upgrade from my old plastic one.

The HBTower KSL-105 5-Step Ladder with Handrails and Work Platform has an ANSI Duty Rating of "TYPE 1 Heavy-Duty", which means this ladder has a MAX WEIGHT / WORKLOAD of 250 lb. including person, all clothing, safety gear, tools and materials on ladder. The "Features & Specs" on the Amazon website advertised this ladder as having a MAX WEIGHT / WORK LOAD of 330 lb. This is false. There are NO ANSI Duty Ratings for 330 lb. It goes from 250 lb. (Type 1 Heavy-Duty) to 300 lb. (Type 1A Extra Heavy-Duty) to 375 lb. (Type 1AA Special Duty). My weight fluctuates between 260 to 270, up to 20 lb. over the 250 lb. weight limit, and the plastic steps "give" a little when I step on them. I DO NOT TRUST this ladder so I'm only going to use it up to the 3rd step so if it breaks while I'm on it, I won't fall too far and kill myself! If you weigh 225 lb. or less, then this ladder may be a good ladder for you. But for me, not so good. Fortunately I have a 6ft. Aluminum Werner ladder rated for 300 lb. that I've been using, and I feel much safer on that ladder than this ladder. But it doesn't have the handrails and wide steps and is more for outdoors work. I'm really disappointed I won't be able to use this step ladder indoors like I had wanted. My ceilings are 9ft. high and my cabinets and closet shelving go all the way to ceiling, so I could really use that 5th step as I'm always taking something down or putting something away up high. TRUSTING someone with MY LIFE is important to me and I CANNOT TRUST HBTower, or ANY of the people who did the YT Videos that did not disclose the correct MAX WEIGHT / WORK LOAD for this ladder, and I didn't see any that did. They could put someone's LIFE at risk by NOT disclosing the correct MAX weight limit. Is someone's life really worth a few extra bucks just to make a sale via false advertising? Since I've already assembled the ladder, I'll keep it, but I won't be able to use the ladder as I had originally intended without risking injury or even my life. BTW, this ladder is assembled with screws that use a #4 HEX Bit for those who do not want to use the included Allen Wrenches. I used a Rachet Wrench with a #4 HEX Socket Bit on one side and a 5/32-inch HEX Socket Bit on the other side as I didn't have two #4 HEX bits. The 5/32-inch bit was a little small, but it did the job.

Very sturdy, easy to fold up and store away. I feel safe climbing on this ladder getting to my high cabinets in the kitchen (9 ft ceiling). I only need the second step, but I used the third while hanging wallpaper. If you don't get it all the way out and locked, it will lock when you first step on it, so don't be surprised. Just step on the rear rung and fold the ladder up it's so easy. This thing does not move! Love it!

So far so good. It did seem a little more flimsy than I thought it would be when I tested it. I’m a big guy and it’s held me just fine but I’m also tall and won’t be using it much. It’s for my wife and children! Which will be perfect! Had I not found it on sale I would not have bought.

This item is sturdy, folds compactly, and mostly easy to use. I found it to be worth the price and am confident in using it around my home. It is easy to open and close after the first time using it. It doesn't wobble when fully opened. My only concern: there is a heftiness to its weight which might be a concern for some folks.

It was heavier and sturdy than I thought. Well that could be a benefit for some for me it will be more difficult to carry and handle it where I need it.

This is perfect for around the house. Easy to fold up to store and pick up to move. Not heavy yet very durable and steady. I feel safe on the top step
