Lots of light, easy mounting, and a "secret" switch
I used these lights to illuminate the interior of a solid wood garden shed. I'm installing solar panels and a large lithium battery to make the shed entirely "off-grid", with a 12-volt electrical system. The pack of four lights was perfect for the size and layout of my 8' x 12' shed. The four lights together put out plenty of light for my application - as much illumination as you'd expect in a normally well-lit room. They used a bit more power than I'd hoped - almost exactly 1/2 amp apiece, for a total of 2 amps - but that's totally reasonable for the amount of light they're producing, and they'll only be on when I'm actively working in the space, so that's still well within the power budget I allocated. It turns out that, although not mentioned in the description (just in the caption of one picture), each light also has a built-in switch; I suspect this may be the reason that some other reviewers had some lights that apparently weren't working. It's a tiny push-button on the end of the fixture opposite where the wires come out. Since my lights are mounted on the roof (unreachable without a ladder), I made sure the switches were all on and installed a wall switch to turn them all on and off. There were a variety of mounting methods provided with the lights. First, there are small holes in the end caps of each light, which you could use with small wood or sheet-metal screws to secure the light to a surface. This should work pretty well, but you'd need quite small screws - probably #2 or so. There are also 8 clips provided, two for each light, as well as sheet-metal screws to mount the clips to a surface. This is the method I used, although I used my own screws because the provided ones are very short, only about 1/4". Once the clips are mounted, the lights easily clip into them, and are held in place quite securely. They can also be removed easily by just popping them out of the clips, but I can't think of why you'd ever need to. OK, those were the practical mounting methods; the lights came with two other options. The first is small double-sided mounting squares, two provided per light. They're quire small, about 1/2" square, and I can't imagine them holding the lights to any normal surface very securely, or for very long. I tossed them into my junk drawer for some other use in the future. The final option is a set of 8 tiny magnets, with threaded holes in the centers; small machine screws are also provided that fit the threaded holes. Each magnet also has a tiny disk, about 1/4" in diameter, that fits into a recess on the side of the magnet opposite the screw. I guess the idea is that you'd mount the magnets on a flat sheet-metal surface with the little screws (only about 1/4" long) via through-holes in the sheet metal. Then, you'd stick the little disks to the (aluminum) light housings (using the double-sided mounting tape above?), and then the magnets would hold up the lights. The magnets seemed far too feeble for this to work in any but the most ideal situation, and I couldn't think of a practical application anyway - certainly not mine. The magnets became more fodder for my junk drawer. In summary, these lights were exactly what I needed to brightly illuminate my shed, and they work very well for that purpose; they're also a good value at only $4 apiece. The switch is also a nice bonus, although it's of no use to me. The mounting methods are sufficient, but the extra ones (the mounting tape, and those idiotic magnets) could have been skipped, possibly reducing the price another buck or so.

Great light, switches are VERY small
Lights are bright, multiple ways to mount, lights are very light weight and easy to install, if you get the switches just know that they are VERY small, they work fine, but are VERY VERY small, difficult to cut a hole for them to install, I will most likely buy some new switches, lights themselves are great though

Bright and easy to install
These are extremely bright and they only draw 235 ma @ 12 volts. I installed them in my big rig to replace the overhead fluorescent fixture. These give 5x the light and only use 10% of the energy of a fluorescent. When I am sitting with the engine off, I am very wary of running my battery down, and I can leave these on for a week and still crank the rig. Be mindful there is a small power button on the end. If yours doesn’t light up, find and push the button.

Very bright
Great lights. Very bright. Yet a compact size. Easy to install. Two wires. Theses are for 12 volt systems. Highly recommend

Great Addition to Enclosed Trailer
I bought these 12v lights to add inside of my enclosed trailer. While they are smaller than I had expected, they put off a ton of light! I was able to easily wire them into my existing trailer lighting in a couple hours. Highly recommend!

Quick Install, Worked for my Project
Bought to replace two interior dome lights for my enclosed trailer. Worked very well and was happy with completed project. Installation included three options, double sided tape, metal brackets that clip onto the light bar and magnets. I did not use the magnets fearing they wouldn’t hold up to the rough ride of a trailer (plus one magnet was missing the magnetic part). I thought about using the metal brackets but the screw provided was tiny and had minimal about of thread to hold so figured that would strip easily. Instead of looking for a replacement screw I decided to give the double sided tape a try. The tape held extremely well to the plastic end of the light and the wood ceiling I adhered it to in the trailer. The lights are so light weight that I’m not concerned about them falling but we’ll see if they withstand the test of time. If not I saved the brackets just in case. Installed between and perpendicular to the cross members of the trailer. As you can see the lights were plenty bright to cover the whole trailer, I used all 4 for the 14ft trailer.

Lights are OK, magnets not so much.
Lights are pretty bright for the size but the magnets are so small (6.4mm x .58mm) as to be ineffective in mounting lights on metal in my case. Need stronger magnets.

Good quality item I installed in my side by side and the retainer clips hold up better than expected. They were easy to install and are bright. Other ones I installed were for a 12v light system in my cabin and they work awesome.
