I love the layout, detailed aspects, size, organized by date. Better than any other budget book I've ever seen.

Good spending and budget tracker.
The month-by-month ledger is good to keep tabs on spending trends. Only downside is that it is a generic product so we have to manually customize the line items to suit our expenditures. Not a big problem but each month requires editing the categories.

I've used this for over a decade
I love everything about this helpful budget planner! I always order 2 at a time so that I don't have a lapse in months if I forget to order--and I like to gift them to people who are just starting to keep track of expenses. The layout is really helpful in laying out priorities and looking at possibilities to increase savings.Even though online accounting is helpful, there's a benefit for me to be able to pick up the book whenever I need to check on something and not end up going down any cyber rabbit holes like I might if I had to go online.

Perfect way to record spendings.
I have used the Adam's budget booklets for years and years. It carries a majority of everyday expenditures.At the end of the year and can see how much I spent and on what. And compare it to previous recordings.

BACK TO BASIC
I have used a home budget book many years ago when I was new to budgeting. I will always be thankful for the tool that helped me understand the concept and importance of budgeting. Then I went digital with Quicken which worked for a while until Quicken made what was a simple exercise of money management too complicated. I thought I'd try Excel but for now I just need something SIMPLE.The Adams Budget book is almost identical to what I had used before. I opted for the Adams book this time because the page layout seemed "brighter" due the font used and the yellow rows. What does NOT work for me are the itemized categories since many are no longer pertinent to my current situation, i.e. retired with no children at home, no mortgage or any loan payments, etc. So to make it useful, I have had to write over the printed categories to "sync" with my current system. A little inconvenient but very doable. I am thankful to have come full circle and be back to a BASIC and an uncomplicated money management tool.
