Q: I s this fabric washable?

It's better not wash, as it may have affect on shielding effect. If you want to clean, just use wet cloth to wipe them.

Q: is this item breathable to be used for mask?

Yes very breathable. we have make a number of mask with an inner and outer layer of 600 thread count cotton, a copper cloth layer, a non-woven polypropylene layer, and a chiffon or polyester layer. If you have to wear it all day, it might become tedious, but for an hour or so it's doable. The copper by itself is very breathable.

It is much lower breathable than cotton material
