Easy fix
I drive a nissan pathfinder. I got a small hole in the catalytic converter it was just noisey. So I gave this a shot. It works awesome I guess i only got 3 wraps around, but my vehicle is now quiet again. I have another small hole close to the muffler. I think im gonna get some more and fix it good. I have no idea how long this holds, but for now its awesome and easy to use. The gloves that come with it are xl, because I use xl gloves at work

Worked well in use, easy to apply. .
So what if it is a little messy...it should be so plenty of material for the cloth tape. They give a set of gloves for the hands and spread a little paper under your work and not a problem! This was my second purchase of this product for a hacked together exhaust for my portable generator to get the exhaust [ported out of the garage. Fist kit used and I let it set and it cured at Washington State ambient summer temperature. Last week there was a power failure and i finally used my get and the kit/patch held up just fine, though the aluminum tape came right off with the heat the wrap did not. But the pipe blew off in another spot so my second kit is to secure that splice. This time I used a heat gun to cure the wrap and did not bother with the aluminum tape. The wrap cured very quickly with the heat gun, it is not summer anymore so the extra heat was a good idea. Looking forward to the next power failure, I think I have it nailed! Great product J-B Weld!

Quiet Cat!
If your exhaust leak is in a tight spot, which most are, this product is difficult to use. Imagine loosing grip of the roll of mesh and have a goopy drippy mess dangling in your face. However, after a thorough cleaning with a wire brush and 36 grit sandpaper, I did manage to get it wrapped around the crack the developed between the catalytic converter and the pipe. The enclosed aluminum tape? Forget it. Use it for something else. Smooth the repair over good with your hands. Take the pouch it came in and squeeze the remaining compound out like its the very end of your last tube of toothpaste and slather that over the repair are well, massaging it into the mesh,I didn't like the idea of starting the engine and letting it cure with exhaust heat either. Let it cold cure for a couple hours, start the engine and let it run for about 10 minutes, then let it cool off. Then take the vehicle for a short easy drive. Keep your foot out of it to avoid a blowout. Let it completely cool off again, then its business as usual. So far I can't speak for the longevity of this product. I drove it a couple of times, and then it passed the safety inspection. Yesterday I ran the truck pretty hard for about 20 miles, and so far so good!I think the key to a long lasting repair with this product is starting with a clean surface that has been scored to promote better adhesion, and giving it a slow gradual curing with a heat and cool/expansion and contraction cycles.UPDATE: Unless you're just trying to get thru a state inspection, better think twice about this product. I put a little over 100 miles on the truck local driving and it held up OK, but yesterday I took it on a 300 mile road trip. By the time I got home it was getting noisy again. BUT, it did get me thru PA state inspection. I don't have to worry about fixing it until warm weather gets here again.

It works
Actually just used this yesterday. Great stuff, and the stickiness wasn’t a big deal. The header pipe on my crf450X was split and this fixed it, done deal.
