Weber Precision 3-Piece Grilling Tool Set, Stainless Steel

Very sturdy, high quality steel with long handle which is helpful when grilling.

Weber quality certainly met our expectations. These grilling tools feel well made right out of the box. They have some good weight to them and are the right length to reach the back of the grill without burning the hair off your arms. We recently upgraded our grill to a Weber Genesis and decided it was time to upgrade our grilling tools too. We had been using the cheap ones from Walmart, and while they did the trick, you could tell the quality was lacking. With these tools, there is no question of the quality. They are certainly durable and function as expected. No complaints on this end.

Nice solid set of tools I’ve been using regularly - gas, charcoal and even over live fire.Tongs are especially handy, and are my go to tool for most every time I cook outside. I love the reach. I’m also doing them a favor now by having gotten a charcoal rake. No longer use the tongs to move coals (though they are perfect for moving coals individually).I also use the spatula - good to get under the items. Perfect for burgers as you’d expect, but helpful with fish and flatter-cut vegetables such as a cauliflower ‘steak’.The basting brush is helpful - the long reach keeps your arm away when you need to stay on the food for a bit while brushing. And you can remove the bristle portion to clean.I’ve put these tools in the dishwasher and they seem to be holding up. Top shelf if you have a coil heating element. (My dishwasher heats and dries without that coil so I can use the lower basket).My only issue is that Weber does not seem to have a fork to match this set. They do have a different fork that looks great. But it is part of a different set that has a different style and perhaps shorter handle. I ended up with a really nice, classic wood-handled fork from a US manufacturer. Sometimes I wish Weber offered the classic wood, but this set is very good.I keep coming back to Weber accessories because many of them are well designed and are made with good materials.

I really like this set and they work great! It might be worth considering the 2-piece set ($10 cheaper) since the basting brush isn’t anything special, but it’s nice to have a matching set with sturdy metal hooks — love how the tong’s hook works to lock it in the closed position.

These tools are large and well made. The only reason i did not give them 5 stars is because the way the tongs are constructed the shape inside is a little hard to clean.

Very nice long grill tong. The best feature is the lock mechanism. It seems sturdy unlike the push pull designs used in all other tongs that requires 2 hands to fold it close. This tong only requires flipping using your hip or any other surface to fold it down. Ingenious.The tong is long enough to reach the other end of the grill. I see complaints about the clipping force but it is not as bad as I thought.It is about twice the price against all other brands but it is well worth the investment. Payback is in convenience in use and longetivity.I only wish the slots (slits) at the tip were removed just like the old model since this introduces another area where extra cleaning effort is necessary when manual scrubbing instead of using dish washer.

The length is great for keeping your hands as far away from the heat as possible but still close enough to pick up and/or flipping food. The tip looks to be good enough to use on bacon, but I haven't had a chance to try that, yet. The inward facing teeth really hold the food well especially large hunks of meat. These are sturdy enough to pick up heavy food; however, don't expect these to give you a hulkish grip. It will depend on your own strength and the weight of the food. The lack of plastic or silicon coating on the business end means less food slipping out of the tongs which I have experienced with silicon coated tongs. I don't have that concern with these. The only issue I have (if you can call it that) is the locking and unlocking mechanism. It's a bit odd and takes some time to get used to - odd but not bad. It toggles back and forth as opposed to pushing in and pulling out. I can see the advantage of this as it allows one-handed operation for both locking and unlocking the tongs. The old, popular method requires two hands to lock those tongs closed. Even if these can't pick up bacon strips (still remains to be tried), I have my old silicon coated tongs for that purpose - bacon is light enough not to slip out of silicon tongs ;-)

We have had these tongs for a few years now. They are still in great shape. Easy to clean and the handle is long enough that there is enough distance between you and bbq. Great quality and durable. Would highly recommend!
